Alvin and the Chipmunks: Still Standing Tall (with Sonicmixer)

The day of the Theater showing was finally upon them. Alvin stretched as he was dressed in his usual outfit and standing in the dressing room, waiting for his composure to align.

"Alright! Today's the day!" Alvin grinned into the mirror.

"Today's the day." Theodore said sitting next to Simon. "I hope you're ready for it..." He giggled.

"Oh I am ready." Simon smiled innocently at him. "I'm more ready for this than anything else I've ever done." He mentally looked over his checklist, making sure everything was in place. "Now shall we go and get this show on the road?"

[SDCharm]

"Yes, yes. Of course we should." Theodore smiled brightly at him.

Alvin fixed his cap and headed for the door. "Come on slow pokes. The audience awaits." Alvin smirked at Simon.

(So this prank.. How do you wanna do this? I already have some ideas, but what are your thoughts? Should I just spring it out of nowhere and then we can just improvise things?)

"Couldn't agree more." Simon said as he began walking, putting a lighthearted whistled tune on his lips. While he was doing that he also decided to once again go over some finishing touches with the remote in his pocket. Every single detail had to be in place or else this wouldn't be as funny.

[SDCharm]

(Yeah, I suppose so. Have you figured out what I've been thinking I want the twist to be for this though?)

Alvin happily marched out on stage, getting ready to sing his solo. "This one is for my brother Simon. Just wanted to let you all know what a great sport I think he is." He said to the audience before he chuckled to himself and began.

Theodore looked over at Simon and kept his hands behind his back. This was gonna be interesting alright...

(Hmm.. You want Alvin to try and twist it onto Simon.. Only to fail and have it backfire and have the prank hit him as intended?)

"Yes indeed I am." Simon smiled, looking over at Alvin and prepsring for the right moment to strike. He looked around, keeping an eye on all of the little changes he made to the set before they got there. All he needed now was for Alvin to start singing.

(I was only planning to have the first part happen actually.)

Theodore looked over and sighed. Alvin did indeed begin singing, rather happy to oblige with the song.

(Ah. Well that part was obvious based on previous things Alvin said. I thought you were trying to throw me with a double twist.)

Simon smirked as he activated the first step. Unknowingly to Alvin, Simon had placed a few things in his breakfast that morning which made him more susceptible to key phrases of the songs he had been programming into his mind while he slept. TOnce the phrases were said, things were certsinly going to get interesting.

(Nope! I'm glad you figured it out. I was worried I wasn't being clear enough with the hints.)

Theodore looked over to Simon. "So what's the first step you're gonna use from the book Simon? Is it something hard hitting and awesome."

Alvin had just begun the song, feeling really happy and twisty.

(You basically said early on that Alvin had planted the journal. Anyways I hope whatever this prank ends up being works. I donmt know if it fits the epic line we keep tossing around.)

"Yes actually." Simon chuckled. "Soon enough Alvin's going to find certain importsnt parts of his body start to shut down. And then once that happens, he'll start singing more childish songs, and then he'll start dressing like a child."
