"AAAAAAH!" Theodore and Alvin fell on their butts and scooted back. "No! No way! Simon!" Theodore cried.

"Wh-wh-wh-what happened to the nerdy fellow?" Alvin shivered and bit his nails.

"Take charge and have a feast young vampire." The man said, ushering Simon toward his brothers.

"Alvin! You're the monster expert! How do we beat up a vampire?" Theodore asked as the two of them backed out of the way in a barely managable huff.

"I am?! I don't remember that!" Alvin winced as he backed up.

"Guh... uh-oh..." Theodore and him backed up until they hit the window.

"...Ugh... something's coming back to me... " Alvin winced and tried forcing himself to remember.

"Well hurry! He' s coming!" Theodore teared up some more.

"Light... holy water... g-garlic...?" Alvin sweated.

Simon got on all fours as he ran all across the room, quickly getting behind Theodore and tackling him onto his back. He then readied his fangs and dug them into his arm.

"AAAAH!" Theodore went light-headed as his blood started to get sucked.

Alvin gasped and started to panic. He looked around the room and saw the broken wood of the window he was standing against. He also saw a nail sticking out and remembered another weakness vampires had...

He took the two boards and drove the nail in between their center to stick them together in the shape of a cross! "A Holy symbol! HEY NERD VAMPIRE! Look at THIS!" He shouted and held it up to Simon.

Simon saw the cross and hissed as he stood back. He wasn't actually afraid of the cross, he was more afraid of the thing that powered it. Alvin's faith that it would work. Vampires were very susceptible to psychic energies, and one of the most powerful one of those happened to be faith.

"Come on you. Take it on!" Alvin got closer to Simon and pushed the symbol forward.

The man behind Alvin grumbled. Seems he didn't want to get too close to it either. "You're gonna let the us go whoever you are." He said to the man.

"Oh I am?"

"Yup." Alvin said back. "And as for you Simon. Back away from Theodore."

Simon reluctantly obeyed him. He was powerless against the psychic energies that faith summoned up. He growled and made his way back behind the shrouded man.

Alvin held the symbol out as he grimmaced and bent down to Theodore. "Theo... Theo... you okay?"

Theodore moaned as he laid on his back. His eyes were glassy and his fur was turning a bit white. Simon had taken quite a lot of blood. That was pretty merciless of him.

Alvin gulped and began thinking harder.

"No need to fear him Simon. Simply put your faith in your ability to overcome his faith and you will win out." He said.

"Don't give him any ideas!" Alvin shouted. "Just back away from my brother. Simon. Your my brother. Hurry and remember so we can go. I... I'm trying my best to remember who I am but I know you've still got memories of who you are."

Simon growled as he advanced towards Alvin, the psychic energies wearing thin with every passing second. "You think I care about any of that anymore? All I care about is food. The one you knew as Simon is now dead. The only thing that remains of him is his shell. The only love I have now is for survival. And I can't do that without ripping out your jugular veins."
