AR Archive has a continuous story too, though problem with those kinds of stories is they tend to get real stupid real fast.

Yes, I have been working on a Choose Your Own Adventure story, but I would not put it where others could add to it like that. You have some nitwit come on who has no clue how to even SPELL, let alone write a story, and heaven only knows what they'll do to it.

Well granted, because this thing is a tree, the choices expand exponentionally. Well exponentially in depth, actually there will be about one unfinnished choice per every written page or node of a binary tree. I don't think it would be possable for there to be many deep branches without a lot of different authors.

However, if you write it like a choose your adventure book, you can merge seperate paths together, and thereby tie choice paths off before you have too many. A tree that merges branches like that isn't really a tree anymore; it is called a DAG or directed acyclic graph. Choose your adventure books are able to finnish themselves by tying many of the choices to a simple 'you die' page.

As far as I have read this tree it hasn't been very bad yet, but it is filled with unfinnished nodes. In fact, I haven't found a single finnished path yet, nor have I reached depth farther than about 12 choices.
