Katara balled up the used nappy and threw it overboard, finding that much preferable to the alternative of keeping a soiled nappy around while they were flying. She grabbed a new nappy from Aang's nappy bag and folded it up around him.

"Aang, you really should tell me as soon as you go so you can get changed. Sokka and I don't want to have to smell your dirty nappies, and when you squish it, it gets a lot harder to clean."

"Yeah, sorry." He blushed again and gave a sheepish shrug. "I'l do that from now on, ok?" He looked at her meekly. Still embarrassed somewhat about the situation.

"It's getting dark. You guys think we should set down for the night?"

"We should probably set down," Katara agreed as she finished the change. "Just find a good spot for Appa to land. We should reach the next town sometime tomorrow." She put the changing supplies back in the nappy bag and yawned. "But should all try to get a good night's sleep tonight."

"Agreed!" Aang yawned dramatically before signaling Appa to make for a clearing he had spotted in a nearby patch of woods.

It didn't take long for them to land and set up camp. They found a nearby pond, and Katara caught fish using her bending, which Sokka set up the tent. Since it was already late, they were both tired and eager to go to bed.

In the night, while they slept, an owl-raccoon came into the camp, and made off with Katara's nappy bag.

When the first glimmers of light penetrated the dense wooded area surrounding the clearing where they had made camp, Aang was the first to wake, as usual.

He yawned as he stretched his arms and shot out of his sleeping bag with a blast of air bending, settling gently back to the ground.

He winced a bit as he felt the heavy weight of his wet nappy pulling down on him. As was normal, he had soaked it in his sleep, having never had a dry night in his life.

Now cold, the squishy padding was a bit gross feeling, but he was still fine with it. Aang liked the feeling of a warm wet nappy, and even a soiled one.

He thought about asking Katara for a change, but decided against it. She and her brother tended to need more sleep than him, and besides, there was little point in changing him before he'd had his morning bowel movement, which would be rather soon.

He looked around properly at the camp and noticed something was wrong. Tings were out of place, the bucket of water they had gathered from the river was tipped over, and several things were outright missing. Including his nappy bag.

"Oh no." Aang said in dread.

While Sokka was usually a heavy sleeper, Aang's blast of airbending disturbed him, and he rolled over in his sleeping bag, eyes shut tight. It was too early for this. "What is it Aang?" he asked. "Can't it wait until morning?"

Katara was also asleep, but she was completely out of it right now/

"Uh, this is kinda urgent Sokka." Aang said anxiously.

"I think we've been robbed......by animals." He motioned for Sokka to look at the evidence for himself.

"Robbed?" Sokka was up in an instant, brandishing his trusty boomerang as he cautiously advanced on the scene.

The camp was clearly ransacked, and it was hard to tell what was missing and what wasn't. He sighed. "Well, there's not much we can do about it now," he said. "Why is this urgent? It's not like letting us sleep in would have made the problem worse."

Aang blushed a bit.

"Well, they kinda took our personal supplies as well. Have you seen my nappy bag anywhere?"

As he said this, he began wandering around the camp, looking for what was left. Fortunately, it seemed that whatever animal had ransacked the camp had caught the nappy bag on a branch, ripping it open and spilling some of the contents.

After a few minutes of scavenging, Aang gathered up what little was left. A few jars of cream and powder, about 4/5ths of his changing mat, and a grand total of 2 intact nappies.
