Bickering Show Ponies (Private with pikachuyoshi)

[Tyrant Hoof]

"There there, I'm sure it'll be fine." Twilight comforted her, taking the little unicorn into an embrace. "I'm sure she didn't mean." Despite knowing Trixie was actually around her own age she had to treat the filly how she looked. 'The magic must have reduced their emotional age as well.' she thought.

"Would you like some ice for that?"

Meanwhile Applejack was torn between giving Dash a stern talking to and comforting her. After a moment of hesitation she went with comforting. Like Twilight she took the filly in her hooves. Rainbow made a few half-hearted pushes against her but gave in.

"Just calm down sugarcube, its gonna be alright." She said soothingly, stroking her mane like she did when Applebloom was upset.

"'m not a baby." muttered Rainbow Dash wetly as she tried not to sob into her friend's orange coat. She was struggling to get control again but it was hard and Applejack was really comfy.

"Course ya ain't." Applejack agreed. "So ya know whatcha did just now was wrong, right?"

"..." She said nothing but Applejack felt her nod into her fur.

[Liten]

Trixie nodded at Twilight when she asked her if she wanted to put ice on it. Something Trixie would have rather kept to herself as that she bruised very easily, and that the mark on her would very well hurt for some time after this. She wiped her eyes with one of her hooves, making them look red and puffy from rubbing at them.

[Tyrant Hoof]

"Come on then, let's go to the kitchen." Leading Trixie by the hoof Twilight took her to fridge and freezer, removing her usual emergency icepack from the freezer and wrapping it in a thin wash cloth. "There you go Trixie, now just hold that in place for a little while."

In the other room Applejack was alternating between assuring her friend she wouldn't tell another soul about her nearly crying, reassuring her that the ponies of Ponyville wouldn't laugh at her and that if she didn't want a spanking when they get to Applejack's she had better darn apologise.

"But she started it!" Whined Rainbow Dash.

"An ah'm finishin' it." Applejack said back with a stern expression. "Hittin' her was uncalled for."

[Liten]

Trixie held the ice pack to it like Twilight said, any old feelings of jealousy or of anger towards her disappeared in that moment. She looked to Twilight and thought. 'You know, maybe things won't turn out as bad as I thought.' That thought brought a thin smile to the little ponies lips. And seemed to make all the difference right now.

[Tyrant Hoof]

"I'm glad that helps. But Trixie, that wasn't very nice, what you said to Rainbow Dash. She was very distressed and you made it worse." Twilight told her. "I really think you should apologise, you are in the same boat after all."

[Liten]

Trixie kicked her hoof at the floor. She knew Twilight was right, but she didn't want to exactly admit it. But if she was going to have to spend prolonged time with Rainbow she had best go and apologize to her.

"Alright, Trixie will apologize." She said staring at the floor.

[Tyrant Hoof]

"Thank you very much Trixie." Twilight smiled gratefully. "This a difficult situation for both of you, I'm certain she'll apologise for hitting you."

Even as she finished talking a ullen Rainbow Dash appeared in the doorway. Applejack pushed her on until the two fillies were face to face. Dash said nothing at first until the farm-mare nudged her.

"'m mmfphmmm." the pegasus mumbled inauidably.

Applejack cleared her throat and gave Rainbow a pointed look. Dash sighed.

"I'm sorry I hit you." she said reluctantly.

When Rainbow first came in Trixie flinched at first, but seeing the reason why she was here Trixie got over the small feeling of fear she had.

"And I'm sorry for talking the way I did." Trixie said, sounding quite sincere, a rather underused quality of hers.

[Tyrant Hoof]

"Everything has worked out then. And you didn't even use third person personal pronouns!" Twilight cheered happily. "I wonder if I can get a letter to the Princess out of this." She thought aloud.

"Twilight! You can't tell the Princess, she knows the Wonderbolts and what if they find out? My dream will be ruined forever!" Rainbow Dash shouted with dramatics that would have done Rarity justice.

Twilight sighed. "Okay, I get it. I promise not to tell anypony I don't have to. Although...I'm not sure how long it will take to fix this, our friends are probably going to find out."

"She's right there sugarcube." Applejack agreed.

"Hmph." Rainbow turned her head away. "Not if I have anything to say about it!"

Behind her Applejack tried not to find the attitude of her cocky friend from a tiny little filly adorable and hilarious. She looked at Trixie instead. "How's the bruise? RD seems ta have given ya a pretty big one."

[Liten]

Trixie had just been idling to the side, wondering what Twilight meant by third person pronouns when Applejack directed attention at her. She moved the ice away from her bruise to look at it for a second before she put it back over it.

"It's fine." She said trying to keep attention off herself, not exactly comfortable being this small.
