You know I'm more classical texts and such." Hank offered with a bit of sheepish smile as he followed along with Jubilee out to the motorpool. And then blinked when they started heading for her car rather than his usual choice of cargo van.

"Huh?" Hank offered with a bit of a grump of annoyance about the situation. "You don't trust me enough to let me go on my own?" Hank asked with a light scowl at Jubilee though shook his head afterwards. "No... I'm fine. Jeez, It's not like I'm going to play hooky on some sort on the kid I volunteered to be a Big Brother for." Hank knew likely wasn't going to get a reprieve and climbed into the passenger seat.

Hank offered with a bit of a playful grin as he pulled his seat belt into place and clicked it. "Of course, you know I have you in my speed dial contacts for just such an emergency." Hank however hoped he wouldn't be needing to but then he was nervous about being away from the mansion.

Hank grunted though at the comment about him finding a way to weasel out of things... leaning back in his seat and crossing his arms with a bit of a grunt. "You wound me... I would never be so cowardly." Hank did have a bad habit of doing so though, so it was probably wise to drop him off like a child. "I see you've been tinkering. You should have asked me if I wanted to come and lend a hand."

''Spoken like a child well if the child has a great intellect'' Jubilee said on the denying matter as lets face it Hank is childish in these things and she decided already to drop Hank off like a child.'' Jubilee remarked as that's another true remark Hank is almost like a child unwilling to share something when it comes to tech atleast

"I'm sure I'll be fine. I mean, I do deal with kids regularly here at the mansion." Not really on a one on one basis though. "So were you able to dig up any additional information about my "Little Brother"?" Hank wondered.

Hank rolled his eyes just a bit at the comment about him sounding like a child. Though he did chuckle softly at the comment about him taking the project over and not letting everyone else do anything. "You know me so well Jubilee." Hank flashed Jubilee a bit of a smile with a wink. He leaned back in his seat and adjusted his seat belt just a bit as he tried to get a bit more comfortable for the drive.

Granted that is true but its also do to how the kid is into something the parents encourage

Hank just glanced over to Jubilee when she warns him about 'playing' with the dash, perking a brow just a bit when she comes off as scolding him. "Surprised you didn't smack my hand for doing it." Hank quipped as he leaned back in his seat again and rolls his shoulders. "A little bit of a wild child? Makes sense... if he's only recently mutated or something." Hank rubbed his chin just a little bit.

This might be something requiring a lot of work which Hank will be thankful for. Since a working vacation is a lot more up his alley than something where he's just going to be relaxing most of the time. Eventually Hank encourages Jubilee to stop so he can grab a slurpee and some snacks for the ride and anything she would like as well. "I hate not driving. How long before we get there?" Hank groans.

''Jubilee questioned as Hank after leaving then returning was loaded with all kinds of sweats aswell as sugar filled drinks ''And please tell me you don't clean the guys supply out of sugary treats? Its bad enough he gets grief from the baseline humans for allowing all those that aren't in his store'' Jubilee wasn't being prejudice as she had explained to Hank and the older X-Men how the phrasing 'baseline human' has morphed in meaning given their is no longer just regular humans and mutants but confirmed 'Homo-magi' as scientists call the ones who are born with the gift of 'magic' then you have metahumans and mutants with humans aswell as mixing of the three none base humans. So 'baseline human' has evolved as a almost race meaning term at this point aswell as a simpler term for even regular people to use .

Hank offered a bit of a frustrated grump at Jubilee when she comments about how immature he acts at times. "I do not act immature and I don't need anyone to care for me. I am pretty good at taking care of myself... despite what some people on the team seem to believe." Hank glances over the stuff he bought inside and perks a brow at Jubilee lightly. "I didn't buy everything they had. I just got a little nervous."

"I just got snacks for us... I wasn't really thinking about bringing snacks for my 'Little Brother'. After all I'm not sure if his parents have any diet restrictions or anything. I wouldn't want to bring treats with me he can't have." Hank noted as he sipped his slurpee and just continued to look a bit frustrated about this whole situation. "I know how overprotective some parents can be these days."
