Even as Blaze approached the steps, which at their size were still a bit big, she could hear the noise from down below them in the main lobby and hang out area. There were already many kids down there, some that had gotten up early to eat and others that were just hanging around until they needed to be somewhere. They walked right by the nurses station as well that was right next to the stairs, which had a few people walking in and out at the moment.

"Well then, guess we should go down the middle." Amy said with a shrug as she stepped down on to the top step and then began to casually walk the rest of the way down. She waited for Blaze about mid-way, not wanting to go on to far without her friend. She checked a watch that she had on. They had about eight minutes now. So they still had no reason to actually rush and run.

Blaze simply nods and starts to follow after Amy down the stairs. She was careful as she was going down them as she didn't want to rush and make any sort of mistake. She was slower than Amy going down them, but she seemed to be getting down them with little trouble as other kids were walking around down at the bottom already able to be seen from where they were at the moment.

Amy smiled when Blaze caught up to her about halfway down and then began to walk down besides Blaze, now going the same speed that her friend was. They walked down the stairs slowly and eventually reached the bottom of the set of stairs. They were now on th first floor and the door to the outside wasn't too far away.

The door to the outside wasn't that far from the stairs on that side of the building. There was another set on the other side that let up to the alternate second floor, but the girls lived on the east second floor, not the west. When they get to the first floor, there was the smell of food nearby, but there were also lots of other kids of many ages roaming around as well at the moment. The downstairs area was like a big hang out area, so there were kids lying around and sitting everywhere, and many in front of a large tv too. There were other games to play and just lots of things to keep them entertained.

Amy smiled as she looked around at everything. There certainly were a lot of things to do here, which made sure that she was never quite kept too bored for too long. Didn't mean that she still didn't get bored, but it wasn't often. Especially with all of her friends around. "Hey, think we should have gotten breakfast while there was time to?" Amy asked as she walked by a few talking kids, overhearing some conversation about tests and what not.

"If we have time we can get some, otherwise, we might have to come back to get something later." says Blaze knowing that they couldn't be late or there would be trouble. Skipping breakfast would leave them a bit hungry, but it was also better that than late for class. They could always eat later if they had to do so. Being late wasn't something they wanted to happen if they could avoid it.

Amy nodded at that. "Right. Don't want to be late or else we'll get into big trouble with everyone." she said as continued walking past everyone. There seemed to be a few kids playing games intently, not noticing anything around them. She thought about telling them that they should put it up and get to class already, but decided against it and simply walked on with Blaze by her side to get to their shared home room.

"Right." says Blaze nodding as they walked to the door. Blaze was glad she was pretty good at walking at this point, as they have passed many people and no one seemed the wiser about anything that was going on with her. The two of them were starting to push the door open to the outside area now as it was needed if they wanted to get to the other buildings. Going outside let them see it was a nice day outside, and that it wasn't a bad day to be out there if they wanted to be out there later.

"Nice and sunny, just how I like it. I think that I heard the weather person on the news saying that it was going to be like this all day. We can go out and play outside later if we want to then." Amy said as she turned to begin walking towards the school. It wasn't too far away since it was the building right next to this one, so they continued to take their time. Rushing would tire them out.
