It was a calm day at sea, and Captain Jacob veileur was sitting with His partner/first mate, playing a round of cards as the ship drifted towards the next stop on their journey. The two were treasure hunters, you see. Not on the scale of those pirates who combed the grand line, but skilled enough to scrap by on the offerings of calmer waters. Essentially, they explored the places that the pirates disregarded.

*Irene Walters was the first mate, though no one knows that. Anyone who does know and calls her by her first name that isn't a friend or husband will be lucky if they are left breathing since she hates that name with a passion. Ever since she got out on her own and joined Jacob in Treasure Hunting, she has donned the name Isis and is wanting everyone to know her by that. At the current port of call she is winning yet again at a version of Old Maid because the Captain seems to have bad luck always picking the hanged pirate.*

Captain, things are getting boring around here lately. When was it again that your informant for that treasure tip suppose to arrive?

Jacob grumbled, tossing another coin in the pot. "She should be here any minute.." He stated, motioning for Isis to redeal.

-Isis smiles some and knows that not being good at the game was getting to him and shuffles while looking to him- I know practice makes perfect, but the game also requires to know the person you are playing against and what their tales are. If you are easy to read, then you'll lose all the time.

"Well, then I must be an open book." Jacob murmered, as they restarted the game.

*Isis sighed a little noting how angry he was getting and decided to lose on purpose in an attempt to make him feel better. She wasn't a cold-hearted person, well not all the time, she did have a soft side to her but that side of her isn't seen much when on a job as she focuses on getting the job done right and looks to him after the game was over* Captain, we have some supplies on board but I was wondering if that will be enough. Do you have some idea to where we would be heading and how long it'll take before we reach port again?

-down the docks a carrier girl was seen weaving her way through a crowd and afterr following directions on a note, she had in her hand, she takes out a package- Ummm, are you Captain Jacob? If so, I was paid to bring this to you. After getting the answer she was expecting, she handed him the package and left.

*Isis stayed silent at first thinking that this could be what they were waiting on and looked to him- You think that this is the info?

"I believe it may be. But..just in case it's not on the up and up, I want to open it alone, in my chambers on the ship." Jacob told her, picking the package up.

*nods a little and looks to him* hopefully it is, I know this town is a good place to visit, but I wouldn't want to be stuck here without seeing the open waters ever again. I'll get to picking up the cards and getting the ship ready to be underway just in case it is what you were waiting on. *Isis gets to that right away and being very happy to have another job to do and probably a new place to explore and bring in more money*

He smiles and follows back to the ship, entering his quarters with the package in hand.

*smiles having finished the readying of the ship, as not much was needed, and makes her way to the Captain's quarters to tell him*
