Celestia's School for Padded Unicorns (Private for Diokno)

Surprise's urgings sprang Twilight into action. She thanked her for holding the door open, but once in the hallway she stopped and waited, since she didn't know where the Astronomy classroom was. She pulled her taskbook out of her bags and made a note to ask for a map during lunch.

"What was in the bag? Did you knit those scarves yourself?" she asked as she followed behind Surprise.

"My each, I did, my mom helped tutor me, and some spare supplies." Surprise smiled, pulling out her map. Humming, she led the way to the cloaks room. She would stop every few minutes to make sure her friendwas following

Twilight followed obediently behind. She looked over Surprise's shoulders at the map, trying to find where they were, then visualizing the path they were taking so she would be able to get back. She had no idea the school was so big, but the map made it out to be enormous. There appeared to be five buildings ringing a courtyard, and each building had four floors. There were so many ways to get lost.

Fortunately, it wouldn't be the worst place to get lost in. The whole facility was beautiful to look at, with high vaulting ceilings and decorated with intricate paintings and stained-glass windows. "We should go exploring," she told Surprise. "When we don't have class, I mean. We really don't want to be tardy."

They weren't going to be tardy were they? Twilight hadn't spent *that* long in the bathroom, had she? "We should hurry," she told Surprise, trying to locate the classroom on the map.

"Relax, we aren't gonna be tardy because..." Surprise stopped infront of a door, "We're here." She gently opened the door,seeing the class still half empty,mand took her assigned seat, Twilight's was on her immediate right,

The teacher, Clear Mind, nodded. Once the class was full, she began her lecture. Surprise jotted down notes.

Twilight always carried a notebook with her, so she was well-prepared to take notes. She was a little disappointed that they weren't going to get to do anything Astronomy-related today, but it was just the first day after all. Everyone else needed to learn the astronomy basics first. So she took notes and raised her hand for every question. When she didn't have anything to write, she studied the other colts and fillies in the classroom to see if any of them stood out, if there was anyone she might want to approach, or anyone she should avoid.

"And on that note...." A loud buzzing interrupted. Clear. She looked at the clock, then HER Watch, "Oh, well, e'll continue this lesson after break." She dismissed the class.

Surprise pulled out her lunchbag, and trotted outside to enjoy the sunlight.

Twilight found a nice spot in the shade against a thick tree. She laid back against the tree and pulled out her own lunch, a daffodil sandwich and an apple. She also pulled out a book she was reading. She was used to eating alone, and so she often brought a book along.

"What are you eating?" she said, her mouth full of apple. "Looks good."

"My mom's homemade salad." Surprise smiled, "With some fried hay on top." She sat down next to. Twilight, she inhaled the warm air.

Twilight wasn't sure what to do when another pony got this close to her, so she scooted away, hoping she wasn't intruding on Surprise's space. She looked down at her sandwich, remembering everything her parents had told her about sharing. She broke off a chunk of her sandwich and offered it to her friend. "Want a bite? And what do you think about the teacher?"

She could feel a little weight in her bowels, but she didn't want to leave her only friend; that would be weird. So she ignored it and tried to make conversation.

Surprise turned when she heard. Twilight scooting away. Her face lit up when. Twilight offered her the chunk of sandwich, "Sure, thanks. TS." She munched on the daffodil and bread piece, cleaning her mouth afterwards. "The teacher's nice."
