A Certain Job to Do (private)

Dakota paced around nervously. If she asked Matt to leave Lucy might get more suspicious but if asked to stay she might ask Matt about Dakota. The decision was tough for Dakota but she knew what she had to do. "I could just wing it," she said, "I mean I could do all the talking and make sure that Lucy doesn't have a chance to ask anything about us. My cousin usually drinks wine with her meal so if she has enough she might be too drunk to ask about our relationship."

"If you want.....we could give her one of your you know what's when she's drunk, and we can say you talked about your childhood and mentioned a curiosity for wearing one, so when she wakes up she'd be equally embarrassed as you would be if she found out about what you're doing" he suggests. "If you want to leave it alone that is fine as well, but if she's going to be here for a few days or more......then it will grow increasingly difficult to keep secrets"

Dakota giggled at the idea of putting Lucy in a diaper but she wasn't all that mean-spirited enough to even pull the slightest of pranks. "That's alright," she politely declined, "When the time comes I'll tell her but for now I'll just keep my new job a secret. Besides if I need to go I'll just do it in my room because whenever Lucy is here she just sleeps on the couch." Meanwhile in the kitchen Lucy was working on making lasagna for her, Dakota, and the house guest. She also brought out a bottle of wine for herself and maybe Dakota since she recently became of age.

"If you don't mind me taking part in such a prank then, let me" he suggests. "It won't take long for someone to find out, and I realize you rather tell her in good time, but that rarely works out, in a situation like this. If nothing else we're not dating, and she is kinda cute. I mean you did say we're just friends, but she is your family, and I wouldn't want to go against your wishes. But so far you only mentioned not doing it yourself" he reasons with a smile.

Dakota looked at Lucy from the living room as she watched her cook. Matt's idea seemed very tempting but she was afraid of how Lucy would react when she woke up in a diaper. Still the thought brought out a side from Dakota that was never brought out before. Dakota was about to say yes when the timer from the oven dinged. "Dakota, Matt, dinner is ready," Lucy said. Dakota snapped back into reality and said, "O...okay." Dakota waddled over to the dining room and sat down on one of the chairs as Lucy began setting up the table.

Dakota didn't say no to his request, so he had full intention on going forth with his plan. He did, however, follow her to the kitchen and sat down at the table and set the bag on the floor. "Thank you Lucy" he announces. "It's kind of you to cook us food. I mean we haven't even met" he reasons.

"No problem, it's what I like to do," Lucy said, pouring herself a glass of wine, "You want some, Dakota?" Dakota shook her head no and said, "No thanks, I am good." Lucy smirked a little and said, "Come on, you are twenty-one now. And a little won't hurt." Dakota just looked at her empty glass and decided to give in this one time. "Okay, but only just a little," she said. Lucy nodded as she poured some of the wine into her cousin's glass until it was a quarter-full.

"Dakota tells me you are um, quite the connoisseur of wine, but she failed to mention how pretty you are" he says with a smile, to try and get in good wishes with her, so that maybe some of her questions would be derailed with flattery. He got up though, acting like he knew the place and opened the fridge and luckily found a bottle of water then sat back down. "I'm okay with the wine though, I'm not much of a drinker"

"Why thank you," Lucy said with a smile, "I don't have that much of a drinking problem but I do go a little bit...overboard from time to time." The woman took a small sip as she and Dakota began eating their meal. "I wonder, Dakota, where were you all day?" Lucy asked. The girl panicked a little but answered the question with the first thing that came to her mind. "I was window-shopping at the mall," she lied, "I happen to have met Matt there so we decided to eat at a fast food place before coming home."

"You're welcome, and I see" he says before the two began to eat and he took a few bites as well.

His training let him know that the quieter he was the worst things could get. Unless he was working a shy angle, but he kinda messed up that idea for the time being. So he decided to interject. "Nice try Dk" he says giving a nickname that didn't exist to further promote the lie that they were pretty good friends. "I was window shopping. You were oogling that dude at the cinnabon" he teases.
