"No, no, Nicky," Denise says, slapping his hands away. "My someone is quite cranky this morning. We'd best get you breakfast." She scoops him up and carries him out of the room. Soon they arrive in the kitchen where the usual island now has a large highchair set up. Moreover, Nick's older sister Madison is already there eating a bowl of cereal, in nothing but a sleep shirt and bright pink princess themed pull-up.

"Hi mama, Hi Nicky," She waves, before taking another spoon full.

"Now Nicky I told you," Denise says as she fastens the tray in front of him. "You'll get to potty train like your big sister in a few years so don't be jealous. By the way Madison, did you go potty?"

"Yes mama, right when I got up," Madison replies, as Denise goes to start making something for Nick. "Between you and me, I sorta miss diapers," Madison whispers to Nicky. "It was so much easier when I had mama to change me, but I guess getting to be big is fun too."

Nick still didn't get why his sister was suddenly potty training while he was stuck in diapers. "Madison, shouldn't you already be potty trained?" He asked. Madison's comments about wanting to be back in diapers didn't make things easier.

"Yeah I know...," The girl pouts with a slight blush as if she's remembering something. "I told daddy that accident during the big car ride wasn't my fault, I didn't know how long we were gonna be..."

"Oh sweetie, don't think about that anymore," Denise says with a chuckle as she walks back to them with a bowl of oatmeal. "So you got an extra weekend of diapers, you're still right on track to potty train with all your friends. Now can you be mama's big girl and go get dressed while I feed your brother?" Madison nods and dashes up to her room.

Nick groaned as his sister ran up like a child. He then noticed the bowl of oatmeal. "Mom, I'm sixteen. I'm not a baby. I can totally feed myself."

"Well okay mr. cranky," Denise rolls her eyes and chuckles, setting the oatmeal in front of him and handing him the spoon. However she also ties a bib around his neck. "If you want to feed yourself like a big boy go ahead, but let me know if you want mommy's help." She pecks his forehead and goes to get herself a cup of coffee.

Nick was grateful he had some dignity for now. With that, he started eating the oatmeal, but he seemed to struggle to get all of it into his mouth.

Denise watches him struggle a bit from across the kitchen, chuckling to herself. As far as she was concerned Nicky asked to feed himself a lot, especially ever since his sister started potty training, but her little man wasn't quite ready for that yet.
