Knuckles watched Shadow approach finally. He was annoyed he'd taken so long but was glad he was there nonetheless. "About time you showed up..." He sighed and walked down to meet him. "I told you this was important"

"Alright, but i you double cross me, you will regret it" she said as she stood up from her seat ad crossed her arms over her chest

Shadow rolled his eyes "Whatever, I come on my own time, not on yours, guardian" he said in his deep voice, with his usual annoyed tone "So what is it you wanted to talk about anyway?"

Lien-Da smirked, glad that Rouge was willing to help her. "Oh don't worry, I'f never double cross someone who wants to humiliate the guardian as much as I do" She then stood up and walked around her desk "So it's settled. We'll head to my ship now and I will take you to the island." She gave the bat the collar and a small communication device. "You are good to go now, right?"

Knuckles growled but put his anger away as there were more important matters. "The emerald. I saw a troubling vision in it involving both of us." He told the staunch hedgehog. "I called you over because I think we're both in danger. But together we might have a better chance"

She put the collar on her belt and nodded as she looked at the echidna "I hope you have a snack on this flight, I am quite famished as of late. Please lead the way" she said as she motioned her to go forward and decided to be a bit teasy by giving Lien Da and playful slap on the rear to get her moving

"And what exactly did this vision entail?" he asked as he crossed his arms as he so far was not impressed, intrigued, or even cared about a potential danger coming for them as he just looked like he was about to walk off without caring

Lien-Da yipped in surprise at the sudden butt slap, but chuckled as she led the way down halls and to the corridors that took them to the hangars. "So you like smacking butts huh? The guardian sure could use some of that with how bratty I've seen him act before" They came to a large hover ship and she pressed a button to lower the boarding platform. Once inside she sat at the pilot's wheel and tossed Rouge a bag of trail mix.

Knuckles was dismayed at Shadow's attitude but didn't let it deter him as he went on the explain. "I saw us in the emerald, both of us trapped in some kind of clear cells neither of us could break."

He rolled his eyes "So you saw us in mouse cages? I doubt they can be that hard to break, perhaps your emerald hardly knows us, or me at least, a simple plastic cage can't hold me and one never will, and that's even assuming this prediction of being captured is true" he said

Lien-Da was amused at the bat's talk of butt pats and spankings as she started the ship and they began to hover upwards out of the ceiling which had a mechanical opening. "Knuckles might be much more difficult to keep in like with a spanking. But perhaps he'll really know to behave himself if we capture him and bring him back for a nice hard butt pummeling in front of my soldiers" She grinned.

Knuckles crossed his arms trying to be as serious as he possibly could with Shadow and trying so hard not to lose his calmness by yelling at him. "Shadow, I've seen many of the emerald's predictions come true. This is nothing to be so dismissive of. We're in danger and we're going to need to work together to make sure it doesn't happen!"

"Ohhhh, a public spanking, now that would certainly be an enjoyable view" said the bat with a smirk as she thought about it before another idea popped into her head "What if he has assistance? SUrely the emerald has warned it's guardian" she pointed out

"You may take directions from a rock but I do not, so don't go thinking I'll just up and believe all of this is an urgent problem. You said you have seen many come true, not all of them, ever think this might be a falsehood? Or you bringing us together like this is already mesing up the chances of this being true?"

Lien-Da put the ship into drive and they were now soaring through the clouds as Rouge expressed her delight as well as some concerns. "Hmm... that's a good point." She admitted, not having really thought about it. "We better spy first and see if he's alone. But if he's not, we'll just have to take them prisoner too"

Now Knuckles was getting upset at the hedgehog. "How could you question something with such immense power?! I know what I saw and I've been guarding this emerald all my life! I really believe we're in trouble and we need to team up!"

Scoping out is my main specialty darling" she said with a smirk as she set the trail mix aside and rubbed her palms together mishievously as she thought of how fun it would be get revenge on the echidna that had defeated and humiliated her in a number of ways and a forgotten number of times

"Remember who you are talking to echidna, I am not one easily triffled with or beaten, so even if someone is coming after us, it will be a cold day in hell before I am captured" he said

(FUn fact, based on the dante's inferno rendition of hell, that little phrase cold day in hell, mkes no sense, because the lowest ring of hell, is actually considered to be frozen cold, rather than blazing hot)
