a childish misunderstanding

it ways a rather boring day for our hero of the story lata a rather short sugar fluff standing a total of 4 foot 5 which is quite short for most people its about the height of the average ten year old but for her rare species its about average so this does lead to misuderstandings sometimes where people may mistake her for a child lke when a woman at the mall called the police thinking she was a lost child and refused to listen when latal said otherwise took like an hour to get out of that one.she was wearing an oversized black t shirt that was jsut long enough to cover her hips so no one can see her bottom with the pizza hut logo on it but instead of hut it said slut along with a pair of pale pink leggings,her long vanilla colored hair tied into pig tails with her bangs covering her forhead,her fur was the same as her hair in most parts except for her forearms,legs and ears which were a choclate brown.she was on her way to her job interview which although she didnt seemed dressed for it she didnt care she wasnt going to this interview cause she needed money but because her therapist said she needed one to help with her so called anti social behavior so what if she threatens almost every she meets with bodily harm that doesnt make her anti social she just hates people and everything to do with them.with a sigh that basically said i hate that im here she walked up to the daycare that had called her back for an interview she walks up to the front door and knocks the sound of children screeching and playing could be heard as she stood there by the door she rolls her eyes" what the fuck am i even doing here i hate kids "she said to herself as she found kids of all ages insufferable to be around.she knocks again shortly after the first time harder not caring she hadnt givin anyone inside enough time to respond to the first door pound

Indeed their was no time for anyone to get to the door to respond the first knock let alone the second but once the door opened a surprise might great Lata that is the face of one of the two owner of the daycare. Which honestly bad luck for her this is the one she hadn't talked to and the owner that was talked to is out sick... Meaning all the co-owner knows is someone was coming for a interview .. thing is Latas demeaner just screams to this woman as a unhappy kid that got dropped off for daycare … This woman is a wolf with blue fur and a red dress , Aswell as bright red eyes , Size around Six foot nothing ...Her tag saying reading ''co-owner'' and right below that is ''hello my name is JiJi''

''Hello Why don't you come in? I don't think we had anyone else coming today... My boss must not have told me '' The co-owner logically answers to the one who is the main owner still she moved aside to let the Sugar Fluff in

she feels a bit intimidated by the tall woman being as small as she is usually everyone is huge but since this one was above avarage height it just made her feel even more tiny. despite this as jiji introduced herself lata couldnt help but roll her eyes at the welcome as she really didnt care who this woman despite her being the deference between her finding job and getting told to leave.she walks in to the daycare her tail dragging on the floor because she was too lazy to lift it up and looks up at the woman figuring she might awnser the woman finally"my names lata uh does that mean you boss isnt here today wait"lata stands on her tippy toes to get a better look at the womans tag"your tag says co owner doesnt that mean you dont have a boss "she said as a co owner usually means you own half the place

''Sorta I'm the secondary in command Sweetie … because My partner was my boss before we became co-owners'' Its simple and doers make a degree of sense you grow used to a power dynamic and its hard to get out of the habit of that dynamic .. Regardless lata was getting lead to the daycare room the misunderstanding already at play not like Lata will be able to convince JiJi she is a adult as JiJi never heard of Lata's species and thus probably think Lata is making up a story if told about Lata being a adult and the like

lata long ears twitch a bit when the word sweetie was said as she found it kind of odd but figured it was probably just the way she talked "i guess that makes sence"she said to herself outloud as she is brought into the daycare room seeing the mass of kids doing everything from playing to watching tv and some where even playing video games they broght with them.lata seemed slightly confused as she was knowing the office wasnt near here and turned to the woman "umm jiji arnt we supposed to go to the office for the interview?"she asked as she didnt want to do the interview with a bunch of kids nearby as she was likely to punch one if they interrupted her talking at anypoint or at the very least say something to hurt thier feelings or even bite as she is know to do

'' JiJi was thinking Lata meant to say she needed to say something in the office she didn't want her peers to hear that are well the kids in daycare … Still Jiji wasn't sure why the chart of kids didn't have a place for this girl unless she was enrolled recently right before her partner got sick and hadn't logged it in as a new arrival to daycare was coming''Sweetie why don't you play with someone '' That might be seen as the place short on staff and willing to just test a new possible worker

with that comment lata glared up at the woman looking like she was ready to do something she may regret but holds herself back as she didnt want another leacture about biting people from her therapist she lets out a sigh calming down a bit and again looks up at the woman"no i am not special i dont know why you would ask that "she said seemingly still a little angry as she hears the womans first order she thinks for a moment on it thinking its ethier a test before getting the job or they are so short staffed that they want her to get to work right away ethier way she decieds to comply "ok i guess "she said with an obvious tone in her voice that said fuck it fine .she walks off to play with some of the children like she was ordered going over to a group of girls who seemed about eight.they were all drinking apple juice and seemed to be doing what most girls do gossiping"um hello"lata said not use to social interaction let alone with children so thats the only way she knew how to start this conversation

''And I heard Bobbo the janitor is slow '' One girl had mentioned right before Lata spoke and the girls look at her in a way only girls can when they are of a places 'Divas' or better put in this case a places 'princesses' ''What do you want new kid?'' The girl that spoke earlier asked as she already was thinking of ways to mess with who she thinks is some new comer to the daycare … After all Lata approached them … instead of them approaching her … Add to that Lata looks sweet as can be do to her species thus she thinks Lata is a pushover

lata twiched her ears who the heck is bobbo lata wondered figuring it was probably an emplyee she hasnt met yet ethier way she already didnt like these brats and she felt like letting them know it two "well i was told to come play with you brats but i can see i wont like the kind of childish games you guys play "she said knowing already what these girls are like after five seconds of being near them as she had to deal with these kind of people in high school and she thinks this is her only chance to take down people like this down a peg"also i am not the new kid i am a new daycare worker you dumb ass"she said a few minuets into her new job and already swearing honestly it was a new record for her usually it would take at least an hour

There was a scoff at being snubbed by this person that approached them... After all who does this kid think she is? They are the kids that in daycare can make other kids time miserable here if they so chose to from having learned the ins and outs of the people working here on patterns..what they'd believe and the blindspots in cameras that last one was hard but in time they had figured it out when staff couldn't find proof of them doing a misdeed on the cameras meant to ensure staff don't mistreat kids .

''Oh you don't act like it … '' The same girl spoke not at all believing Lata at all, these girls planning to for now let the snub go and keep the fact Lata said a bad word to themselves as to have for ammo if needed later
