"Sure thing," James said. He exited the meeting room and took the elevator down to the lobby. The receptionist simply nodded as she continued looking over her magazine. The Human had every reason to believe that she was probably carrying a gun hidden under her desk.

Regardless, he exited into the smoggy Lethuai air and began walking back to his apartment.

When he arrived at his apartment, there was an obviously intoxicated Utahraptor in a well-used diaper slumped against a corner in the lobby. Everyone simply ignored the Mesozoican as they went about their daily business, not caring if they were alive or dead.

James wrinkled his nose at the odor and pressed the elevator button, hoping it could come soon.

And come it did, a woman smoking an electronic cigarette emerged and tossed the spent cartridge on the floor.

A few minutes later, James opened the door to his apartment and let his partner enter first. "So what do you want to eat?" he asked as he tossed his backpack on the couch. "I can whip us up lunch, or we can order out."

"Eh, I'm not about to be super picky over it." Za'kar said with a light shake of his head. "Anything that raw will basically work for me.... So long as it isn't spicy though." He added towards the end, not wanting to deal with eating something that would make him feel the burn.

"Also, what exactly are we going to do on this mission. Do we have any sort of plan to help us out or are we just that lost?" He asked.

James shrugged and began cooking a quick meal of chicken and rice. "My plan is let the company's goons do all the heavy work and go swipe anything that will be of interest."

He oiled the pan and tossed some garlic onto it as he spoke. "It's simple and effective. We keep our hands relatively clean and we get some extra booty." James tossed some onions into the pan. "Oh, just help yourself to anything you want in the fridge."

Of course, James was going to their little nighttime mission carrying some firepower. It would be foolish not to be armed when doing something like this.

"What happens when it comes to something that we can't exactly keep ours clean on though?" Za'kar asked as he opened the fridge. "I imagine they're not going to just let us, you know, work with other people all the time." He said before hopping into the fridge and grab something to eat. Once he did grab a raw steak, he attempted to get a plate too after basically setting it down for a moment.

James plated his dish and put his his skillet into the sink...which still had the plates from breakfast in it. "Well," he said. "We'll deal with that when we come to it."

He took a sip of his seltzer. "Also, I'm planning on heading to the store to buy some stuff we can use like cornstarch, mineral oil and the like. Maybe we can even get some diapers and sell them too."

The Human looked at the little raptor. "After all, we can pass you off as a Deinonychus hatchling."

"Why do you want me to pose as a hatchling so much?" He asked him before eating his food for a moment. Then he joked, "Is that something you're into?"

In reality, Za'kar wasn't entirely comfortable with posing as a hatchling. Firstly, he felt like he was going to look like a major idiot. Secondly, he was kind of worried about getting caught mainly because that would be embarrassing as heck. ESPECIALLY if he really pushed his act and used his diaper or something.

James flinched back. "No, of course not!" Inwardly, he thought the hatchling idea suited Za'kar, given how childish he could be. He took a bite of his meal. "But it'll be easier to purchase a pack of diapers for a Deinonychus if we actually have a 'hatchling'."

While it technically wasn't illegal to purchase hatchling/baby diapers and/or training pants, many retailers had a policy to refuse sales if they suspected the items weren't going to be used on a hatchling or baby. In addition, those who had them and didn't have a good reason to possess them (meaning a baby/hatchling), were going to be asked some tough questions by the cops.

"Well," James continued. "It's either playing hatchling or not getting diapers to sell." As if reading Za'kar's mind, he added. "Don't worry. You won't need to be diapered. We'll have you as a mostly potty trained Dein hatchling."

"Oh good." He said before deciding to give a bit of a story on how being diapered went for him. "I apparently was considered a "Poofstitue" whatever that is." He said be sheepishly chuckling. "It's probably because I chose to let someone have some fun with me because um... I figured it'd be good in order to get the money."

"Oh." James took a gulp from his glass of water. "You make a lot of money from it?"

He then continued eating. "I'm not opposed to you wearing and using diapers, but you'll have to change them yourself. But hey, as long as it earns creds, I don't care."

The Human finished his meal and started washing the dishes that had accumulated from breakfast.

"Right um.... I don't think I earned a whole lot, but I earned like... A thousand, maybe?" Oh the bad math skills were kicking in again. "Anyway," He started as he was washing the dishes, "Do you think someone else is going to be helping us out on our first job for this company?"
