Crinkle Cartel [Reboot] (Silvertip and Circuit-Jay)

James turned on the fan in the bathroom before he left Za'kar to his own devices. He headed to the kitchen to get a plastic bag that the raptor could put his garbage in.

He then opened the door to the bathroom and handed him the plastic bag. "Gotta say Za," he began. "I really don't get this whole diaper thing at all." James then shrugged. "Eh, whatever gets you off I suppose."

Of course, he didn't vocalize it, but the Human had to admit, Za'kar really wore diapers quite well.

Za’kar felt a little shameful, to say the least. He came out of the bathroom, having cleaned himself up and everything. He was sure to bring the dirty diaper out with him too because, you know, needed to throw it away somewhere.

He told James, “I think it’s better that we don’t talk about it then. Don’t want to create too many questions, you know?” He wanted to change the subject from that. It clearly made him feel a little uncomfortable. Chances were that his wouldn’t be the last time he wound up in a diaper or something.

James poured himself some water out of a pitcher that he had retrieved from the refrigerator. "Water?" he asked, offering a cup to the little raptor.

The movie they were watching was a high-octane action movie about a corporate spy. Granted, such escapades did occur in Lethuai but they were usually not as insane as those in the movie. Keyword was "usually". James could remember at least one or two incidents at his workplace that could have qualified as a genuine action flick.

At the same time, he thought it oddly appropriate that he and Za'kar were soon going to be the stars of their very own action movie in a few hours.

Za'kar would take the cup of water with a nod of appreciation. He felt so awkward right now and wasn't much for words still at the moment. He was still thinking a little bit to himself about what he just did a couple minutes ago.

He didn't dwell on it forever however because his attention was pulled to the movie. It wasn't a favorite of his, but it was still a movie nonetheless. A good one to say the least too. So he would watch that for the next few hours. Eventually though, they'd be getting a visitor.

Just as the movie ended, there was a knock at the door.

James went up to the door with pistol tucked into his holster, peered through the peephole. Sure enough, there was someone present at the door. He opened the door ever so slightly, just enough to allow conversation but not enough for the visitor to force their way in.

He wondered if this was the contact they were supposed to meet for tonight's mission. If so, they were a little early.

Upon opening the door, he was greeted with the sight of a Utahraptor that had white feathers that faded to black around the fire limbs. Oh, and they were wearing a diaper as well, but they didn’t seem particularly worried. Maybe they actually needed them?

Anyway, they asked James, “Hey. You two ready for that mission?” Well, no secret as to what they were there for.

"Isn't it a bit early for that?" James asked. He noticed the raptor was wearing a plain white diaper instead of one with prints on it. "Anyways, I need a minute or so to prepare."

He then shut the door amd went into his room to get his gun. His fingers trembled as he loaded the magazines. The adrenaline was getting to him and making him slightly dizzy but he managed. With the gun holstered and a light windbreaker thrown on top of it, he exited his room and locked the door.

"Hey Za," he said, gently poking the little raptor on the couch. "Apparently, it's time for our mission." He then headed back to the front door and opened it, letting the smell of cigarette smoke and harsh air freshener waft into his apartment.

He then waited for Za'kar to get ready.

Za'kar had gotten absorbed in the movie enough to not be listening to anything being said at the front door. However, James poking him was enough to get him to stop watching. He would turn off the television and then go get ready.

Considering that he wasn't exactly some elite expert here, he didn't need much, nor did he have much. He simply had his back pack, which was empty for this situation because he doubted he needed to make any sells. He also brought that knife with him after debating whether he would need it or not when he thought about using his claws. The extra reach and sharpness was appreciated though, so he brought.

Anyway, he would meet up with the others at the front door, just in time to make it back to that Utahraptor telling James, "I know it's early, but there really isn't anything wrong with getting a job done earlier now is there?"

James shrugged. "Sure." He then looked down to see Za'kar next to him. "You know, maybe we should take a backpack or something in case we see something we want."

He was kind of surprised no one bothered the Utahraptor but then again, it was rather late. That and someone bold enough to be wearing a diaper in public (especially a plain white one) was someone best left alone. The Human shifted slightly, making sure his pistol was securely holstered and the two spare magazines were in place.

"Ready?" he asked Za just as he unlocked the door and held it open for the little raptor.

Za'kar would give a little nod in response and say, "Probably as ready as I ever will be for something like this." He then looked up at the larger raptor, specifically their padded behind. He was kind of curious as to why the guy was just walking around in those in public... Took some guts, really, but maybe this dude had permission to do that for whatever reason. Za'kar wasn't going to ask about it.

So, they would basically be setting out for the night. The Utahraptor decided to ask them, "So, you guys do know what we're going to be doing on this job, right?"
