Fortunately, the raptor had easily defeated the simple lock to the the door. James tentatively followed. The scene of modern antiseptics mingled with the herbaceous woody scent of traditional Chinese herbs.

"See anything useful we can swipe?" James asked to Za. He looked over at the cash register and approached it. Sure enough it was open...and completely bare. The computer terminal was off too...or else he'd try to order some goods and have them redirected to a spot he could pick them up at.

He then turned to the raptor. "So what do we do now?"

"Obviously, we try to get the person here to leave our associate alone." Said the Utahraptor. "But it seems like maybe they were expecting a little bit of company considering that no one seems to be here..." Then he turned to them. "Look for 'em."

Meanwhile, Za'kar didn't seem much of anything that was actually useful to him. Sure he could probably take some of this stuff and sell it for more, but none of the stuff in there seemed particularly strong to him.

"I doubt that any one's here," James replied. "I mean, they closed up shop."

Regardless, he hastily pulled open drawers behind the counter, quickly scanning through the numerous receipts and pieces of scrap paper. Anything not of interest was thrown on the ground. Normally, he wouldn't leave such a mess, but the large raptor's demeanor suggested that they leave a their mark on this place.

"Hmm?" The Human found what looked like wallet tucked in the back of the drawer. He opened it and found that it was a vendor's certificate that allowed the bearer to ferry up to ten packs of diapers with them and it appeared to have said holder's name, registration number and a photo. He tossed the wallet to the large raptor.

"Think this'll help." He then continued digging through the drawers for something he could keep.

The raptor had caught the wallet and immediately began to look over it contents. While they did that, Za'kar decided to just simply sit back off to the side, wondering what he could do. He didn't exactly see anything in here that caught his eye, at least not immediately, nor did he really know what to do when the person they were looking for wasn't around.

"Firstly, we obviously should leave a bit of a message at this place, but don't set off any alarms. Secondly, we simply hunt this guy down. Just messing the place up a bit I don't think is enough." They said.

James coughed in shock. He was a bit shocked to be assigned a hit so quickly...hell, he was shocked that he was assigned to do a hit at all.

At the thought of "leaving a message", the Human looked at the goods. One of the items available was some caterpillar fungus (used as an aphrodisiac) inside a locked case. Thanks to being involved in Lethuai's Chinese community, he knew that they were worth as much, maybe even more than gold...and were very difficult to get. Sure, there was only glass dish containing about ten of the precious items but a single one sold for as much as a case of diapers on the black market.

"You know, why don't we just pillage this place?" he offered, eying the precious herb.

"Do what you want to this place. Anything that will leave a mark works out just fine here at this point." Said the raptor as they stowed the wallet away in a little pocket on the jacket they were wearing. "Chances are that we aren't going to just find this guy within a matter of seconds. If it turns out we can't find him throughout the night, at least we left something for him to think about." They said.

"Sweet." James turned to Za'kar with a smile. "Hey Za, up for some pillaging?"

He then whipped out his pistol and smashed the display holding the caterpillar fungus. Luckily, the owners assumed a simple lock was enough to deter thieves and it wasn't alarmed. He quickly pocketed the glass dish. There was also a ginseng root in a glass bottle as well. That was also quickly pocketed.

The Human then decided to head deeper into the store.

"Eh, this place has all the legal stuff, which is pretty soft, really. I mean, sure I could take some stuff and try to make something stronger, but last time I did that well..." A brief image of a table catching on fire flashed through his mind. "Anyway, nah, I'm good."

It was also kind of just then that there Utahraptor friend here was unknowingly filling their diaper as they mused over where to start with all of this. Thinking a little hard, weren't they?

"I think the drugs and stuff goes to the company," James said with a yawn. The sound of breaking glass was heard as James smashed something. There was then the sound of a door being opened.

"Hey! I got something!" James called out. His voice came from the back of the store.

James looked around the room he had broken into. It was a generic office with a computer on a desk and a bunch of paper work that he really didn't give a shit about. But there were two things that caught his interest.

One was a sturdy safe that was bolted to the floor. The other was a small sample pack of diapers. And judging from the size of said package, it appeared to be one made for a Utahraptor.

(For Za'kar? Yuuup.)

Za'kar really couldn't see himself doing much damage without causing more harm to himself. He was a, probably, three foot tall feathered lizard who could be pulled around like a toy by a baby. He probably wouldn't let that happen, but one likely would never know.

Anyway! When James suddenly smashed something, that made Za'kar immediately lose his thoughts out of curiosity. Immediately came over, eyes more on the safe than the package. "Ooo, I wonder what's in there."

"Chances are there's something either really good or something really boring." Said the Utahraptor as it made its way in. It had actually decided to hold off on leaving much of a mark on this place until they were about to leave. "If you think I have any ideas on how to get that safe open, I'm going to let you know right now that I don't."
