James approached the playroom front desk. He asked for his "son", Za'kar back. As he watched the clerk tally how much he owed them, he had to wonder, what had the little raptor found?

And more importantly, did he get caught?

One of the attendants found Za'kar and approached him. "Hey, little guy, your dad's here to pick you up."

She gently took his hand and led him to the front desk where James was currently waiting.

Za'kar let himself be lead out to James. Once he was allowed to be with him again, as a "son" he looked up to him for a moment, back at the clerk for a moment and then back at him. "Um... So did you find anything?" He asked while scratching his face lightly.

James paid the cashier the credits that he owed for them "watching" Za'kar. It was then he noticed that the little raptor was wearing a new diaper.

He pulled back the waistband of his diaper and made a show of checking the raptor's diaper. It was then the clerk spoke.

"Sir, if I may, your son just had his diaper changed before you came to pick him up," she said.

James nodded but at the same time, he was a little worried about his friend's continence. After all, when Za'kar wore a diaper, he almost inevitably ended up soiling it.

Regardless, he then knelt down to his level. "I think we should use the bathroom before we go." Left unsaid was that the duo would be talking in there...and looking for anything interesting."

Za'kar wasn't exactly appreciative of James checking him. Wasn't he aware that he didn't really want to fit into this role that much!? Well, it didn't seem like he had much of a choice because James was doing. Now that he thought about it, he was glad he actually got changed instead of holding it until now because that probably would have ended poorly.

The raptor was obviously horribly embarrassed to the point of which any little poke would get to him. Even if it wasn't meant to. He whispered back to him as he was kneeling, "Can we like... Never mention this again?"

James nodded as he headed off to the bathrooms. Sure enough, they were prominently labeled and there were two single occupancy bathrooms in addition to the male and female ones.

He entered the nearest single occupancy bathroom and locked the door. The air smelled of baby powder, air freshener and used diapers but it was a relatively private place.

"All right," James said, keeping his voice low. "You find anything interesting?"

Za'kar, although kind of wanting to yell at him for doing that little check earlier, only nodded. "I did kind of to be this suspicious looking guy in a staff room. They were doing a trade, said to do something with papers and the table would be there's. Nothing interesting, I guess, but the guy was sort of literally wearing a trench coat like in those old detective movies... When it's not even bad outside, and I kind of feel like if it's official business, why be so secretive, and why suddenly pay pretty much out of pocket then and there like it was some sort of drug deal we'd do?"

James nodded as he digested the information. He then spoke. "Looks like they're selling ABDL furniture too. We're definitely dealing with some high rollers here," he said. ABDL furniture was extremely expensive due to the difficulty of getting it covertly delivered and constructed; as a result many of them simply built their own.

He looked around the room. The bug detector he had in his diaper bag remained silent.

"As for me, I found this giant crib in the showroom. It's 'for multiple babies' supposedly but I'm calling bullshit on it."

"Anyways, I tagged that giant crib? You got anything?" The Human then decided to bring up the awkward topic of the raptor's diaper. "So Za'kar, you had your diaper changed in the playroom, right? Did you get caught or no?"

It was at this time that James was grateful for the heavily insulated door and the soft music. While intended to help calm babies and give mothers a quiet place to nurse their baby, it also made eavesdropping quite difficult.

Za'kar, although less focused on his current predicament, still wasn't too happy about things. He kept glancing around, half expecting to suddenly see that Troodon come walking in, giving him some smug look. Oh he'd just want to rip out his feathers if that happened...

"No... I wasn't caught." He told James with a shake of his head. "Er... I don't think I was anyway..." Then he quickly changed the subject, "Anyway, I found a pretty large changing table in that room I went into where that sort of shady deal was going on. I stuck a thing on it." He said, not really knowing what to call the "bugs."

James nodded. Looks like their work was done. He then quickly radioed Alberto. "Hey, we just tagged two pieces of suspected ABDL furniture."

Alberto's reply was immediate. "Good. We've got their positions. I'd say we're done for now. Alberto out."

James nodded and looked at Za'kar. "Looks like did good." He very pointedly didn't mention the little raptor's new diaper. What Za'kar did in his diaper (and the aftermath) wasn't his business anyways.

(OOC - how do you see them proceeding next? Another night time covert ops thing or something else that'll have Za'kar diapered up again?)

(I'm imaging that perhaps they do find something in there and decided to take a bit of a deeper look into it. Perhaps they decided to go to wherever those bugs lead them and sort of scout the place out. Maybe see if they could make a good haul, or potentially make their business rival here look bad when they pretty much snitch on them.)

Za'kar almost let out a sigh of relief when they heard that they were done. He then simply nodded in agreement with James before lightly blushing. "Can we um... Stop the act and leave now?" He asked him quietly, not exactly liking this situation still. Sure, he was getting used to it, but it still made his dignity burn.

He really hoped no one else noticed that he was wearing a different diaper because that'd be terrible in his opinion. It also really, REALLY, didn't help that James was aware that he had some issues with not using the diapers. But he could assure him it wasn't that he was losing his continence, but rather that he had rather shitty luck (Pun intended.) But he didn't exactly want to just tell him that he was... You know, messed up or something.
