James considered it and then turned to the little raptor. "So what's your idea?" he whispered.

Luckily, there wasn't anyone nearby...just a Deinonychus hatchling in a very messy diaper being escorted into the changing room by his flustered parent. Luckily, it wasn't the one they had left the janitor in. Thankfully, the upset hatchling provided enough noise and distraction that his parent likely wasn't paying any attention to what the duo were talking about.

The Human wrinkled his nose as the odor of the hatchling's diaper seem to hang in the air...even with the high quality diapers that he was probably wearing. "We should get going before someone finds the mess we made in the changing room."

He then made his way towards the store proper, waiting for Za'kar to follow him.

Za'kar was going to say something, but then James got a little caught up by the scent of a heavily used diaper on another reptile, fortunately. Za'kar wasn't going to be too happy if he turned out to have lost his continence for whatever reason. Anyway, he would follow James from where they were previously. As he followed, he would go on saying, "I was thinking we could sort of just scout around the back of this place. Surely there has to be some way to get in to the back."

Oh, and shortly after, he asked, "And do I have to stick in this thing? I don't think I really need it anymore..." He was talking about the childishly patterned padding he was wearing, no doubt.

"Yeah, sounds good," James said. He passed by an entrance to what looked like the rear of the store. He had to pause to allow some workers moving pallets of baby clothing out onto the sales floor to pass by them. In terms of street value, baby clothes were nearly worthless due to them being unable to fit Humans. That and Mesozoicans didn't really wear much in the way of baby clothing...except diapers. The one constant item that a Human baby and a Mesozoican hatchling had in their wardrobes.

He then heard Za'kar asking if he could take his diaper off. "You can take it off when we get to the back," James whispered.

That opportunity would some soon as the workers pushed their load far enough away from the door that James and Za'kar could squeeze through before the door closed.

Za'kar nodded lightly and said, "Fair enough..." Then he looked towards the door. Seemed like their way in. Making sure that no one was watching, he would towhead and start moving. Getting through that gap would be no problem for him given his smalls size. Once on the other side, he would wait for James to come through.

Za'kar did sort of move to take the diaper off, thinking it was a bad luck charm of some sort at this point. He paused and changed his mind shortly after, mainly because he sort of had nowhere to put the thing... Or throw it away. That and he had some stuff in the pockets on the thing. Grumbling a bit, he figured it could wait a little longer.

(OOC - Though Za was wearing a normal diaper with no pockets...unless you mean to say he put the stuff inside his diaper.)

The doors closed slowly enough that James made it through with plenty of space to spare. He looked around the back room. There was nothing much of interest, save what looked like the bulk boxes of diapers locked away inside steel cages.

Strangely enough, there weren't too many workers present. Of course, with so many boxes of diapers around, the air was thick and oppressive with the infantile scent of baby powder.

"See anything?" James whispered as he carefully peered around one of the steel cages. He was looking at the door to what appeared to be an office. The door in question was closed but he kept his eye on it in case someone went in or out.

Za'kar looked around the room and grinned to himself. "I see a lot of stuff we can snag." He then looked back to James, tail swaying in excitement slightly, "Think we'll get to bring a bit of this stuff back home if we're quiet enough about it?" Well, he sort of failed at that given that the dad piece he wore didn't exactly have a mute button.

He then also decided to look up at the ceiling. He noticed some odd shapes. Cameras, no doubt. Maybe if they played it smart this wouldn't go up in flames in the next few seconds.

Alberto's voice came in through Za'kar's earpiece. "Hey, your reward for this little mission is already whatever you can take. Don't get greedy!"

James nodded as he let out a breath. "Damn, this shit must be worth millions of creds on the street," he muttered. He looked at the nearby cage which contained "Rascally Raptor" brand Mesozoican configured diapers. These diapers in question were designed for highly active Deinonychus sized hatchlings...which meant that they would fit an adult Velociraptor perfectly. The packaging showed a diapered Dein hatchling chasing after something.

Unfortunately, for the Human, he had no experience bypassing locks at all. That and the diaper bag he had packed didn't have lockpicking tools.

The door James was watching opened up a little bit as a woman walked out. Crucially, she left the door ajar ever so slightly.

James smiled. "It's your turn to plant the bugs," he said, nudging Za softly.

Za'kar winced when Alberto suddenly started talking. Whoops, he forgot the others could hear him. Probably should keep an eye on that next time... Assuming he could ever do anything about it anyway.

Za'kar blinked when he was suddenly nudged. Looking to James, he nodded, "Uh... Got any extras? I sort of just stuck them in my diaper and forgot about them when I got changed." He said quietly with a blush. He hoped he didn't just screw everything up. If James could give him a few, he'd gladly get moving.

James nodded and reached inside the diaper bag. He passed over a a little white capsule about the size of an eraser one would find atop a pencil. Another item he passed over what looked like a sheet of black, circular stickers.

"The white one is a tiny microphone and transmitter. The stickers are tracking bugs," James said. He then looked up as he heard footsteps.

Heart racing, he squeezed himself between the wall and one of the cages. He held his breath and crouched down behind the pallet of diapers, hoping they'd hide him from view.

"Think that relaxation center 'cross the street's gonna go out of business?" a worker asked as he casually walked down the aisles. The distinct metallic footsteps indicated that he had a lower body prosthesis or an exoskeleton but James didn't dare look.

Another voice -- this one female -- replied, "Probably, after all we're bigger and we cater to real babies. Of course, if they don't go out of business...well, there's a reason why diapers have a warning on them to keep them away from fire." The clacking footsteps indicated a Mesozoican of some kind.

Za'kar was listening to James as he explained things here. He figured that's all he would be getting given that he quickly hid away. Not seeing any sort of space in the hiding spot James chose, the Velociraptor decided to simply step around the corner of the shelves. Having distanced himself from his partner, and those approaching, he felt a little worried that things could go sour soon.

He did sort of feel like these guys deserved a kick in the teeth after what the lady said. He was going to peek around the corner, but he sort of heard them getting a little closer. Panicking a little bit, he stumbled back behind the corner, putting him on the other side of the shelves filled with product. Thinking that standing around would be far from a good idea, he would get moving. Preferably away from those employees so he could tag things in peace.

He had failed to realize that he was in the sights of a camera. Luckily, the alarm didn't immediately go off as the person observing where their feed led to was either too confused or wasn't paying too closely attention. Probably a good thing for Za'kar given that he was less than appreciative of the attention he received while in padding.

"Okay... All I have to do is tag a few things and everything should be good..." He said quietly to himself. Looking down at his tools for a moment, he decided to simply turn the mic. on so that, well, maybe he could catch something good with this.
