Crusader crash mishap. (Private with Lilluna)

Scootaloo looked at both the presents, thinking to herself which one to open. She had never gotten to many presents, only one or two every year but now she would get to choose between two at once. Looking between the two, Scootaloo pointed to the bigger present. "That one." She said. Once the phone had rang and Rainbow had answered it, Scootaloo looked up at the phone, sitting still, and waiting for her to be done with the call. "Whose on the phone mommy?" She asked.

"If you know any other way to get a filly with the mind set of a foal to eat chopped carrots Dash then be my guest." She joked, putting the spoon on the now empty plate and pushing it to the side. "Sorry for the interruption Rainbow Dash but I do hope im not interrupting anything am I? Rarity asked. For the moment it seemed Sweetie was entertained with the phone itself so that was good.

[LilLuna]

[I'm going to drop Sweetie for a bit, she'd be occupied with the phone and playing with her food.]

Rainbow sighed deeply, gabbing the phone with a wing as she grabbed the gift and started to unwrap it for her daughter. "It's Rarity Squirt. And not really, I'm showing Scootaloo her new room. Why is something wrog?" She asked as she pulled out the scooter, painted the same color as Rainbow's coat with an adjustable set of handle bars and even a large baseboard that gave her room to grow.

Scootaloo still sat patiently, that was until Rainbow had said the Rarity was on the phone. "Miss Rarity?" She asked. "Oh oh! Can I talk to her? Can I, can I?" She said, reaching out her hoofs for the phone. The moment Rainbow had opened the present however, Scootaloo's eyes went right to the scooter, her face seeming to light up upon seeing it. "A-A s-scooter?" She asked still starting at the cyan scooter. "That...is...AMAZING!" Scootaloo yelled, "Where did you get this!? This is absolutely amazing!" The little filly kept going on about the new scooter. that was until a thought came to mind. "Wait, what happened to my old scooter?"

"Well to a certain point yes but not an absolute emergency." Rarity explained, a smile forming as she heard Scootaloo excitedly yelling in the background. "It's Sweetie Belle. After I showed her the new room and put her down for a nap, Well she seems to have adapted a new mindset. She's acting compleatly like a foal." She said, glancing back to her sister to see if she was fine. "I tried to get her to snap out of it but I may need your help."

Rainbow chuckled warmly at the reaction her little filly was giving to the simple gift. Yet that question made her heart sink a little. "I'm afraid that it was really damaged in the crash Squirt, we managed to get the handlebars and part of the baseboard, but nothing more. Applejack and I made that." She said, nuzzling the filly gently. "What do you need us to do Rares?" She asked, that sounded rather worrying if Sweetie was acting like that.

Scootaloo expression seemed to go blank as she heard the news about her old scooter. She had since she was a little younger, it was one of the only gifts she had got while she was homeless. Just like that though, her scooter was now gone, replaced by a new one. But it did have parts from her old one so there was that. For a moment Scootaloo just stared at the scooter, sitting still and listening to Rainbow talk on the phone, she would have to wait until Rainbow was off before talking about this.

Rarity paused, obviously that was becoming a moment where it was a bad time for her to call. "Rainbow, I can hear that you seem to be busy right now, the situation itself isnt to urgent." She explained. She could understand if Rainbow was a little preoccupied with Scootaloo, it was already a little difficult for Rainbow as it was. "Feel free to call me back if it helps darling."

Rainbow sighed deeply, but This really wasn't a good time for her. "Alright Rarity, I'm trying to speak with Scootaloo, I would go and address Twilight about Sweetie, she would know best." She stated, placing the phone down, giving her full attention to her daughter, her smile fading a bit at the look she was giving. "D-do you not like it Squirt? We tried our best to work it through and used any parts we could from your old scooter." She said, slipping down and hugging the little filly; she knew how much that scooter had meant to her.

Sweetie by now was babbling again in soft coos, her hunger sated now. So instead of finishing her carrots she picked up a few of the pieces and threw them at her sister. Right now her condition wasn't that bad, but it would be if things kept going. Still she seemed rather happy now, clapping her hooves together and tossing yet another carrot piece at what she assumed was her mother.

Scootaloo looked up at her mother, of course she loved the gift just she was a little sad about her old scooter. "N-no it's not that, I love the scooter." She said. "It's just, I had my old one for a while and it's just a little sad to hear that it's gone now." She explained, hugging Rainbow Dash. "But now that I have a new one, I bet I can go faster now! Even faster then I originally could." Scootaloo said, feeling in a better mood already. "Maybe even faster then you." Scootaloo joked, pointing a hoof at Rainbow.

Rarity put the phone down, hanging up and sighing. Maybe going to see Twilight wasent such a bad idea, plus she had promised her friend lunch some time, she was sure she wouldent mind if it was moved to dinner. Then she had felt a piece of chopped carrot hit her, then another. Rarity instantly glanced over to Sweetie. Apparently she was getting joy out of throwing carrot pieces. "Now Sweetie Belle, you know better." She said, pulling the bowl with the remaining carrot pieces to the side.

Rainbow nuzzled the little filly gently, giving her a small kiss on the forehead. "Your old Scooter isn't gone Squirt, it was used to build your new one. So really it still lives on in this one. I know you'll miss it, but with a new life and a new scooter comes new adventures." She said, slipping a hoof up to Scootaloo's wings to stroke the down like feathers. "Keep thinking that Squirt, maybe when I get you flying you'll stand a chance. Now do you wanna see your other gift?" She asked, ruffling her mane a bit.

Sweetie giggled at the look on her sister's face, one of anger mixed with irritation. Although when those words came something clicked in her head for only a moment. "R-Rarity?" She uttered softly, holding her head for a moment before the other side took over once again and burst into tears from the headache. It seemed Sweetie was still in there, but right now she was only so cognitive dealing with others.

Scootaloo seemed to brighten up at Rainbow say that someday she could be faster then Dash. Just the thought alone that she could be faster or even as fast at Rainbow was making her pretty happy. "I bet ill even be able to do my own Rainboom! But it'll be orange!" Scootaloo went on, then she glanced the the other gift. Holding out he hoofs, the filly started to reach for the gift, rainbow had opened the last one so of course she wanted to open the next one. "Oh oh! Can I open this one!"

Rarity had started to clean up the mess that Sweetie had made, not paying to much attention to her sister's giggling. She was thankful for the giggling though, at least is wasent crying. Then she heard somepony say her name, the voice belonging to her sister. "Sweetie?" She asked, turning around to her sister just as she had started crying. Immediately picking her sister up, Rarity began to gently rock her back and forth, hopping to make the crying stop.

Rainbow giggled at her daughter, already she was setting goals bigger than life, but she would help her achieve those dreams no matter what. Maybe you will Squirt, then I can really pass everything on." She said, messing up the filly's mane a bit. She slid the gift over to her and gave her head a bit of a pet. "Sure have at it, I hope you like it." Sje said with a smile, kissing the orange filly on the forehead.

The second she was lifted into Rarity's forelegs those tears started to stop and she curled up lightly. In her mothers arms she was soon cooing and giggling again like a true foal would. She grabbed a bit of Rarity's mane in her mouth and tugged, finding the bouncy hair both inviting and looking like it would make a wonderful snack as she tugged on it with a foal's mentality but the strength of a filly.
