It worked, as Chibiusa was laughing uncontrollably. She felt so at ease, especially compared to before. Soon, she was powdered and in a fresh diaper. Indeed, as Usagi had predicted, Minako had come in to use the bathroom, so she'd seen the whole thing. "Well, well, Usagi. I must say, you've surprised us. You really can be mature when you put your mind to it. Babysitting suits you, by the way."

Usagi jumped in surprise, brought out of diaper changing concentration at Minako's comment, flustered by both the compliment and the fact that they were caught.
"T-Thank you!" Usagi stumbled, smiling.
"Just please don't tell the others, if you can help it. It was supposed to be a secret." Usagi added, looking over to Chibiusa to see if she was bothered at all.

"It'll be fine," Minako said. She left the bathroom and smiled a bit. Chibiusa just felt quite fine, nothing could ruin the moment for her. With that, they made their way back home, with the fact that Ikuko needed to be informed about what was happening. "Did you have a good day at the arcade, girls?"

"It was great, mom." Usagi said quietly, dreading the conversation that was going to come after, not knowing how Ikuko would react to the news, and the fact that Usagi didn't tell her right away. Hopefully it wouldn't be an issue, but with her mom, who knows.

Usagi bent down to Chibiusa's level and spoke softly to her
"How about you go upstairs and get ready for bed?" Usagi asked of Chibiusa, figuring that she probably wouldn't want to stay for the awkward conversation.

Chibiusa nodded and did so. Ikuko then sat down at the table once Usagi sat on the other side. "What's going on, Usagi? Is something wrong?" She was naturally a little nervous about what she was going to hear.

"Well, before you get worried, it's nothing criminal or anything like that. It's about Chibiusa."
Usagi prefaced before she got started with the conversation, clearing her throat before starting.
"She's been having some accidents lately. She has been bedwetting for a little while now, but last night I finally put her into some diapers. She seems to be taking it well so far, but today she had a couple of accidents, with a wet one in the morning and a poopy one not too long ago at the arcade. I'm worried about her and I figured I should tell you." Usagi finished, awaiting her mothers response.

"Well, I'm just glad it's nothing more serious than that. I was seriously concerned. But I do wish you'd told me earlier, I could've helped you, especially if you've been having to take care of your sheets after she's had accidents," Ikuko said. "But, if she's having that many accidents, I'll set up a doctor's appointment for her to see if there's any cause for it.'

"I didn't know if you'd believe me, seeing as the first time I told you, you thought that I wet the bed." Usagi stated, not wanting to blame her mom or anything, but just stating a fact.

"Thank you." Usagi said to the last comment, glad that something might be done medically about Chibiusa's problem. Although, selfishly, she was hoping that this whole situation would last a bit longer. Usagi enjoyed having a little baby sister to take care of, and Chibiusa didn't seem to mind the attention at all. It had already started to mend the relationship within a day, who knows what it could do over a long period.

'I wonder if she could wear just her diaper around the house' Usagi thought to herself, heading upstairs to join Chibiusa in getting ready for bed. Although, it would be awhile longer before she actually joined her, seeing as there were a few matters that had to be taken care of before bed, notably a study guide for the next quiz.

Chibiusa was clearly starting to have some fun and relax, and felt much better about the situation. When Usagi was finished with her study guide, they went to get into bed together. "You know, I think this is the best thing that's ever happened to us, Usagi. I'm sorry it had to take us this long for us to figure out a way to get along."

"I think so too..." Usagi admitted, snuggling closer to Chibiusa and patting her diapered bottom

"You look really cute in your diaper, by the way." Usagi also admitted to Chibiusa, finding her to look a lot like a toddler, especially with how she wore her hair.
