Hearing the blonde's squealing, Kon promptly realised his mistake and was scrambling up to try to cover as much of the cute, smiley bear face as quickly as possible. With cheeks flushed bright pink he was quick to thrust his hands back to cover his bottom; though, trying to keep up that pout was difficult with how morbidly curious he felt about Kara’s sudden declaration.

Was she teasing? Or genuinely offering? Either way, he couldn’t let his guard down and push the matter any further; teddy bears on his bottom were plenty incriminating as it was!

“No way. Teddy bears’re for babies and I’m a big b—I’m plenty grown up already!” He maintained with an adamant nibble to his lip “Besides…if m’sposed to be getting packed off to some base…” the faintest hint of a hurt pout drifted back towards Clark “Then the last thing I need is someone getting the wrong impression and thinking I’m some kinda…baby!”


Now, upon hearing something like that anywhere else, Wally may very well have fallen into a typical trap of blurting out the first few thoughts that came to mind without really thinking about it; this time though, something was different. When a bright eyed boy like Bart suddenly curled into himself for a even a second, the impact it left was oddly infectious; Wally found himself slowing with such ease—hanging fire to take note of every little shuffle and shrug. When the revelation came…well it did explain quite a few things; especially how he seemed to have an endless supply of clean socks all of a sudden.

“Hey,” the warm voice sounded to the poor boy’s ear as he reached to cup Bart’s cheek with a reassuring smile “No need to feel ashamed; that’s a pretty brave thing to admit. I’m proud of you for telling me this, champ,”

Sincerely, the speedster reached out and pulled Bart back into his arms a moment; letting the moment sink in before, carefully, beginning to speak again.

“I think I might have an idea how to help; but you’re probably not gonna much like it. So you’re gonna have to just trust me when I say it’s the best thing for ya. Think you can do that for me?”

Kara couldn't help watch on amused at Kons reactions throughout realizing what was going on at this time ''Batman I have found from sp--I mean by chance found has a bat themed teddy bear he keeps in his watch tower room''Kara was honest and if a guy like Batman even has a Teddy bear in secret it couldn't be only for babies but the stigma would still be wise to keep from a Teddy bear on a team.

''Besides you are a kinda baby but a interesting and good kind,I understand what you mean though''Kara at the point came closer and before Kon could react kissed Kon on the forehead like a mother or older sister would to a up set child/sibling


''You mean it?''Impulse blurted out on the first statement when Wally mentioned feeling proud just for him saying his problem

''So long as it lessens the chance of others finding out it can't be that bad,so sure I can trust you''Impulse said clearly not thinking its something bad but his mind isn't thinking of diapers when thats likely what Wally means

"Am no-ot! I'm a big b-...!" But before Kon could once again slip up into something of a full blown tantrum, Kara had already leaned in and planted a kiss upon his forehead; with his eyes wide and cheeks pink, the boy was effectively stunned to a bewildered sort of silence.

“You’re weird, you know that?…” he pouted still; though sounded more confused than irritated about her actions. Dare he say it almost felt nice to have someone so playful willing to hang around?

It was too much of an effort to really put much thought into that right now, however; quite against his will, Kon’s eyes were beginning to feel heavy and if not for the gentle draught passing under the door, the boy probably would have risked laying down on the bed for a few minutes.

“Dad?…” he whined up quietly as chill bumps began to pimple across his arms “S’cold…”



“Alright then kiddo,” Wally chuckled softly, deciding not to elaborate for now “I’ll be right back. You just stay here—I mean that Bart, stay—and sit tight.”

After a second or two just to make sure the boy wouldn’t spring up to wander off again; the speedster sprinted double time down to the med bay to pick up a couple of supplies.

It wasn’t much of a shock to see the medical staff just a little irked by the intrusion, especially when such an invasive ‘raid’ was being conducted at the speed of sound; but as long as he left a few apology notes dotted around and everything more or less in its place then Wally was sure there wouldn’t be too many hard feelings.

Finally, the red head returned with a strange looking package stuffed under his arm and a gentle smile still set across his face.

“Time to get ready for bed, ok?”

Kara cocked her head in mock thought''The thought has crossed my mind but I like being weird''Kara had amusement in her voice''Now be a good boy for abit and I'll come back with a reward for you when I have the chance tomorrow.''It was mostly playful teasing but there was some seriousness in her tone. Kon might take it one way or another but Kara is just trying to lighten Kons mood while being herself around who she sees as family plus she had already had something for Kon anyway,nothing too special but likely to Kon it'll mean alot as something from someone who's related atleast distantly by blood to give the teenager a gift . Albeit in the guise of being a reward .

With that Kara started to walk towards the door


Clark when hearing Kon was cold picked out a warm looking footed pair of p.j's to put Kon in which he started to put Kon in lovingly


Impilse cocked his head at the package distantly recalling some of his younger ancestors complaining when other was around but the adults that brought it paid no mind but Impulse never stuck around to find out just what was in that kind of package now he'll find out it seems.''Okay but um''Impulse couldn't help pause at whats a childish request''could we maybe sleep together tonight?''Impulse was blushing abit as he knows its childish but he wants to be close to Wally atleast for one night

As much as Kon wanted to fuss against Kara’s gentle chiding tone, the boy found he didn’t have much energy to spare to think up a good come back; besides, something in him was rather curious as to what she meant about a ‘reward.’

“M’always ‘good’,” he murmured softly to her retreating form, tempted almost to wonder why he couldn’t have said reward sooner rather than later.

In any case, Kon’s attentions were soon taken up by the pyjamas that Clark had his feet slipped into. The deep blue cloth was adorned by the sweetest of stars; a soothing green, in fact, that also cuffed so preciously at the arms and neck.

“Mnnn…” he fussed just a little as his arm was pulled easily through the warm fleecy sleeve “I look like such a dork right now, don’t I?…”

Though, as unconvinced as he may have sounded, Kon’s tired eyes couldn’t help but give away the sudden sense of contentedness that such comfy jammies brought with them; babyish as the design was, they were the softest, warmest things that he’d ever been able to wear—quite the step away from the tight fitting jumpsuit Cadmus often had him adorned in.

“M’not sleepy ya know…” the teen tried to voice; convincing more himself than his father “Do I really have to go to bed already? Can’t I stay up for a while…maybe-maybe with you…?” clearly, he wasn’t ready to be left on his own for the night.


Now, Wally had to notice; wasn’t that just the sweetest thing ever? Unable to keep the loving grin from his face, he stepped forward and set the night’s ‘supplies’ down on the bed in a little pile.

“Sure you can, kiddo,” he gently agreed as he began to tear the soft plastic package open “But not until we get you diapered first. As much as I love ya Bart, I’m not too crazy about idea of being soaked tonight. Now,” carefully, he held up one of the thick night time diapers in pinched fingers “Go ahead and lie down,”

Clark shrugged at the first question on the matter''I wouldn't know ''Clark clearly was referring on the dork question mainly for he may have been popular in the sports crowd at school he still was sort of a dork otherwise

''Its obvious you're tired and need sleep''Clark voiced his say on the matter but then had a ideal for a compromise of sorts ''How bout we sleep together? That way you and me will be together.''


Impulse to his credit didn't object to the diapers as if it was no big deal then again that could do with hes getting to sleep with Wally so he laid down moments after slipping off his pants and underwear knowing to a degree how this works even though hes blushing rather profoundly at the situation

After a few quiet moments of just sleepily pawing at his eye Kon gave up the stubborn act long enough to shuffle his padded little rump forwards and, wrapping his arms around his father's toned waist, bury his face into his stomach in agreement.

"'Kay. But you promise you won't just up and leave?" He murmured a little defensively, with his fists balling into the back of Clark's costume.


"Who's a good boy then?" Wally gently praised as he nudged Bart's hips up enough to slip the newly unfolded diaper under his rump.

Being such a skinny kid, it wasn't much of a problem to manoeuvre the kid this way and that; after dusting a little powder across his bottom and finally pulling the front up and taping it all together.

Now, he knew he shouldn't risk embarrassing his young charge, but there was absolutely no stopping the fond grin that was pulling at his cheeks again.

"There, wasn't so bad now, was it?" He grinned still and couldn't help but add "Wanna get your jammies on too?" in an all too affectionate manner.

''I promise not to up and leave unless a major problem arises''It might not be how Kon wanted the promise but Clark was honest as for if trouble came up and he couldn't avoid it he'll help out and at that he had something he needed to request

''Can you let go? I also need to get ready for bed you know''Clark stated gently as he doesn't want to sleep in his hero suit


Impulse could help but be embarrassed at the good boy remark but strangely he didn't seem bothered by getting diapered how he just had been''Sure let me just get it''Impulse got a pair of his favorite P.J's out from where he hid it. Its a Gargoyles themed footed pair with a hood on it and he started to put it on

"Hhmph."

Unable to help but feel a little put out at both that response and request, Kon reluctantly loosened his grip and scooted back to sit in the middle of the bed. While his body may have been too tired to complain, his mind was in just the right state to start feeling anxious; each and every detail of tonight's strange events played over and over in his mind's eye, mingling with thoughts of his immediate future, this 'team', how similar to a Cadmus compound it sounded...and as each and every thought worsened, the quicker he was to jam his thumb into his mouth and just think.

How on earth was he going to cope with all of this when there where other kids his age practically ready to find out? Nervously, he continued to suckle at his thumb; all of this playing so vividly in his mind that he was practically unaware of the world around him.


God, even the way Bart waddled in that diaper was just so endearing, Wally couldn't help but notice and just lingered a moment to make sure the boy was alright to get himself dressed before changing into his own set of nightwear in practically no time flat.

"Ya know what'd top that onesie off?" He wondered idly, turning the bed covers down as he did so "A little set of wings on the back. I think that'd really set ya up for a photo shoot," he so very gently teased.

Clark had grabbed what is known or used to be known as a Union suit which is a one piece long underwear with a flap in the back and a button up front he had grown up using them in the winter and cold places so he still uses them even though most see it as only/mainly worn by unsophisticated people now-a-days Clark didn't care so long as its comfortable and hes proper which is true anyway he went to the bathroom and changed into what he had and went back to Kon while pulling the cover back and then getting them both under the cover


Impulse looked at Wally and stuck his tongue out''They'd need to be big enough to glide no self respecting gargoyle would go anywhere in sight of others outside there clan with tiny wings that they can't glide on''Impulse stated even though he knew Wally was teasing him he felt like saying that regardless he zipped into bed leaving plenty of room for Wally while Impulse has a nice amount aswell
