She blinked in surprise at that answer. Even blushed at that.
- So making me a helpless baby is a sign of love? - she asked, a bit confused by the notion, but somewhere it did appeal to her.
- I know they arent as thick, but you saw that I can use the potty, and you said I only need them for accidents. - she pointed out.
- I know I don't have to do anything, but I'd like to. - she insisted. The girl still had to get used to wearing diapers, and even willing to compromise for pull-ups was progress from refusing them. There was a good chance she'd still try to get rid of her nappy if left unsupervised.

Edward considered. “I need to think about it. Maybe if you are being good then we can trade for them for daytime. However if there is leaking and if you are a naughty girl, then we’ll get back to diapers.” He said.

He went to the dining room with her and sat her in her high chair. He did secure her legs as he didn’t want her to stand up, though left the arms free for now. He was here and so he could supervise.

- If I ever go into my nappy when I'm not tied down, you can put me in the thickest, bulkiest diaper on the planet. - Mia replied, with absolute confidence. She's been potty trained for 2 years now! The only time she ever had an accident since then was when the others at the orphanage played their mean prank on her, and not having those bullies here, the only possibility she could imagine, was not to be able to get up and go to the potty.
She did blush when she was carried to the dining room still wearing no more than her onesie and baby diaper, and crossed her army in a pout when she was placed in the high chair with her ankles strapped in.
- Just how much stuff do you have to tie me down with? - she asked, annoyed by the restraints, but - although she would never admit it loud - also curious. Just how helpless could Edward really make her? And how would it feel? Waking up, being tied to her bed was... Surprisingly comfortable and calming.

He chuckled. “Oh I made sure I was prepared for everything.” Dinner was served and Edward cut it up for Mia. He then fed her personally. “There we go sweetheart. It’s chicken with some healthy veggies for you.” He offered her a fork full.

- You know, I've been eating on my own for years. I thought you left my hands free so I can do that here too. - Mia pointed out, when the first forkfull was offered. She took it nonetheless.
- This tastes really good! - she exclaimed once she swallowed the first mouthfull. However, she also gave a mischievous smile.
- You know, if you insist on feeding me, might as well tie my hands down again. You won't let me use them anyway. - the girl pointed out, blushing a little bit. Part of her liked being a baby. The attention that came with it, at least.

"Now of course I feed my baby, but I thought I wouldn´t need to tie your hands down, because I know you´re good. If you insist, we can however do so, but I only would consider it as a punishment. Besides Annette made you some pudding for dessert, I thought you could eat that on your own, while I enjoy my meal." he pointed out and fed her more.

- One time you say only loving parents care so much that they tie their kids down for their safety, and then you say it's for punishment... I don't get it. - she admitted, taking another bite.
- What's the most helpless, or the safest you could make me be? Would that be punishment or caring? - question after question, but then again. She was a little girl.

Edward didn’t mind. “It is both. Punishment is caring. I care enough to show you consequences. Tying you to bed is a safety measure foremost but can be used as punishment as well. You could do nothing but lay down and you are depend of me. While you sleep it will keep you from falling out.” He explained.

Mia rolled her eyes.
- Heard that before. That punishment is for my own good, to protect me. Didn't feel like that when my bottom was sore from the Headmistress' paddle. - she frowned. She really hated getting spanked, and really hoped Edward won't do that to her, especially not for the smallest reason.
So, she did her best to be a good girl and didn't complain about being fed. She was promised to have dessert on her own, after all, and wanted to see if Edward could be trusted on that. She wanted to trust him, so she wouldn't mind being in diapers, baby clothes and restraints.
She wanted to test Edward. To see for herself if he'd still be nice to he when she was completely helpless. She wondered how it would feel like. She was curious, and she didn't have a lot of time to experience that feeling she had when she was tied to her bed.
- I'd like to try, Daddy. I'd like to figure out if I can depend on you. Can you make me a completely helpless little baby girl who needs her Dad for everything? Just for a bit. - she added.

“Now now I certainly wouldn’t spank with a paddle!” He even doubted he could spank her. As he heard her request, he smiled gently. “Well. If you wish we try it out. So you see how nice it can be and that your Daddy will look after you. First however you can have your dessert. After that we’ll give you a bath and then prepare you for bed. But you can watch a movie with Daddy before bedtine.”
