Daring Do and the Diaper Tomb (Private with TheMatt)

[TnT]

"The...desert...wait, do you have any geological indication of where you're currently at right now?" Twilight asked skeptically, actually scared as to how Daring had made it here in one piece to begin with. "Yes, the ruins should be towards the sandy area," she confirmed.

[TheMatt]

"Oh, yes. Ruins, hehe..." Daring scratched the back of her head awkwardly. She felt kinda stupid right now. "I wasn't really paying attention when you were explaining where it was."

[TnT]

"It was in my letter origi...nevermind. You're here, and that's all that matters! Now if we want to be there by sundown tomorrow, we need to start hoofing it. I was in charge of finding information, and had hoped you would've brought something to ride in..." she trailed off once more, rolling her eyes. Same old Daring. As she did though, she caught glimpse of a colorful and round object on the top of a rather low building, compared to the others around it. Although she couldn't see it all, she could easily recognize the top of a hot air balloon when she saw one, considering she owned one herself. Her spirits lifted like helium at the idea of not having to walk for a day or more, and she quickly turned and pointed out her finding to Daring. "What do you think about balloon travel?" she asked with her arm raised.

"Balloon travel?" Daring thought about it for a moment. She was a pegasus and could easily get there by herself. But she needed Twilight's guidance to find how to get there. Plus, she doesn't want to waste any energy flying all the way there. "Sure, I won't mind. As long as you drive."

[TnT]

"Let me see what I can do," Twilight said, making her way to the building. Three minutes later, Twilight stuck her head out of the front entrance, motioning for Daring to come in, indicating her success with obtaining the balloon. She had a proud smile upon her face.

[TheMatt]

Daring rolled her eyes and followed Twilight to the building. "Are you planning on stealing that balloon?"

[TnT]

Twilight shot Daring a disapproving look. "W-what?! N-no, don't be silly! Not every pony is as reckless as you!" she replied as they made their way up the stairs. "No, I...bribed them a little for it...that's all..." she blushed.

Back on the first floor, a young blue stallion behind the welcoming counter was splayed out in his seat in a pure pleasure afterglow, drool escaping the edge of his mouth. An important-looking red stallion, presumably his boss, trotted around the corner and, seeing this, started to get angry. "Dennis, why are you sleeping on the job! Or, whatever it is that you're doing!"

The blue stallion just glanced to his boss half-mindedly. "A purple unicorn...just gave me...um...the ultra rare issue 1 of The X-Ponies in mint condition." He blushed, his tongue almost sliding out of his mouth as he ran those words across it. His boss just stared, one eye twitching.

"Yeah..." Twilight started again, "I have my ways." They reached the top of the stairwell, and Twilight opened the large metal door to the roof. The balloon in front of them wasn't necessarily in perfect condition, but at least they wouldn't have to walk.

Daring stepped in the basket of the balloon first. First time she was ever in a hot air balloon. She extends her hoof to help Twilight get inside with her.

[TnT]

Twilight took Daring's hoof, hopping in the basket herself. "Alright, let's fly!" she stated enthusiastically, firing up the balloon and holding onto the sides of the basket as they took off. Once at a decent altitude, Twilight maneuvered the balloon, directing it southeast. It wasn't long before they cleared the high buildings of the city and entered the desert just outside its boundaries.

Twilight glanced at her maps. "This makes things much easier!" she declared. "At this speed, we should be there in no later than two hours!"

Daring looked out and watched Las Pegasus get farther and farther away from them. "I gotta say, Twilight. You outdone yourself this time." said Daring still looking at the bright and colorful city. "Finding all the information, getting us a sweet ride and such." Suddenly, the adventurer's diaper starting getting yellow. Daring has unknowingly wet herself.
