"Dashie," she said, using the mare's nickname. "Are you okay? You wanna talk about what happened?"

"I'm fine." Rainbow Dash muttered, unconvincingly. "Just humiliated it front of everypony, what could possibly be not fine about me right now?!"

Spitfire nuzzled Dash as she woud a foal. "It's okay Dashie. They're just ignorant. Do you want to join in today's training or not?"

The gesture was oddly comforting and Rainbow Dash started to return it like a child seeking comfort before stopping herself. "I should...I mean, I can't fall behind." She with a sigh. "But I don't want to laughed. I really, really hate being laughed." She shuddered at the thought of being a target of mockery. Hostility, shouting, anger she could handle. Being laughed at she couldn't.

Rainbow Dash nodded, feeling a bit more confident now as she stood up. But she still hesitanted when they left the room. "...you promise you won't let anypony laugh?" She asked in a small voice, sounding more like a little filly or Fluttershy in search of reassurance than herself. Public humiliation was essentially her biggest fear after all.

"Promise!" Spitfire said.

"Hey, look it's 'Diaper Dash'!" another probationary Wonderbolt shouted from the clouds above.

"What is your major malfunction, Lightning Ridge!?" Spitfire shouted. "Sixty laps around the perimeter! On the double!"

The chastised Wonderbolt immediately flew off. Spitfire then glared at the others. "Anypony want to say anything else?"

No response.

"I thought so."

Rainbow Dash flinched at the insult, visibly taking a step back. It was an unusual sight for the rest of the probationary Wonderbolts, who were very used to Rainbow Dash's brash, loud and confident attitude. But the Captain's punishment of Lightning Ridge convinced them not to say anything as Rainbow Dash joined them.

As the training began, a few enjoyed being able to outdo Rainbow Dash while she was still learning how to fly as expertly with her diaper adding to her weight and the dynamics of her shape. But it was obvious she was going to get used to it quickly. She was, after all, Rainbow Dash.

On her part, Rainbow Dash felt more than a little gratitude to Spitfire, reassured that the older Wonderbolt was keeping her promise.

Spitfire nodded as she watched Dash perform her training exercises. She had seen several incontinent Wonderbolts go from flying like champions to flying like a newborn foals when they had on diapers.

Rainbow Dash huffed as she stopped for a moment. She was getting better but slowly, way too slowly for her. The fact the rest of the probies were out doing her right now wasn't helping but she consoled herself that she would get better, get over her wetting or learn to fly as well with diapers as without. If she could fly better than them when she was in a diaper, well, she was a shoe-in. It would just take work.

She took a deep breath and got back to work, not even feeling it as she wet her diaper. Not enough to soak it, but the first wetting it would see of many.
