The TARDIS whirred and made other various noises as it landed in front of the home of Derpy and Doctor Hooves. The two ponies had just come home from a vacation, and as amazing as the trip was, the two were glad to be home again. The grey pegasus stepped out of the TARDIS first, stretching her wings out and smiling at the sight of Ponyville. She hoped that her 'little muffin', Dinky, was alright. Though she was being taken care of by Sparkler their adopted daughter, so she was sure she was fine. But as a Mother, it was her job to worry. She couldn't help it.

"Alright Derpy dear, we're home." The Doctor smiled, as he locked the TARDIS doors.

Derpy stretched a bit as she exited the weird booth type thingy that she traveled in. She never really understood what she had been doing much past helping her partner do things wherever he needed to. "I hope the girls behaved. I don't think Dinky wants another mane cut after last time."

"Hah." The Doctor snickered, unlocking the front door to their home with a flick of his Sonic Screwdriver. "That would be disastrous, my dear Bubblebutt." He playfully smacked her plot with his tail. "Hmm," He noticed a note on the front door, and read it over. "Oh, it seems Dinky and Sparkler went out for a while." He smirked at his wife. "And we have the house all to ourselves." He ran a hoof across her cheek.

Derpy shrugged. "Well it's still early in the day so they can play and stuff." She replied, heading inside. "So what'd ya wanna do while we have the house to ourselves? I'd love a nap." She said, obviously still more of the innocent mare her husband fell in love with.

"Well, I was thinking of something else." The Doctor smirked. "Something involving my "Sonic Screwdriver?" He nuzzled her. "After a little snack of course." He trotted into the kitchen, his well sculpted plot swaying. "Can't have fun on an empty stomach."

Of course Derpy knew fun involving his "Sonic Screwdriver" after a snack meant they were going to have some fun in the bedroom. It normally wasn't something she just wanted, but whenever her husband wanted it, she wanted it. "Whatcha want me to make? I'm sure Dinky made some muffins if ya want those." She said, glad she taught Dinky to bake extremely well.

"How bout I cook dear?" The Doctor smiled. "You can just relax, watch some TV or something, my sweet." He pecked her on the cheek. "Be right back!" He swiveled around, and trotted into the kitchen, where the sound of cooking could be heard shortly after. This was mixed in with the Doctor humming a Mare$ha song.

Derpy giggled a bit once the Doctor pecked her on the cheek. She loved cooking but when her husband said not to worry about, she wasn't going to worry about it. She floated upstairs to make the beds and make sure her daughters' rooms were cleaned (well enough, a few things here and there were ok).

The Doctor's millenia of life had taught him a few things here or there. He was one of the leading experts in Cheeseometry, even gained a PHD in it. He was also a fairly talented cook in most dishes. After thirty minutes, their simple meal of hay spaghetti with a bit of bacon on top was done. What he had found out about his equine body was that, while it could handle meat, too much would give a pony digestion problems, diarrhea incuded. "Derpy dear, the food's done!" He called out, smiling.

Derpy had made Sparkler's bed for her (she had a habit of half doing it) and then went to cleaning their shared bathroom. No scrubbing was needed, but she straightened everything else up. Derpy fluttered down to the kitchen and sat down. "Lunch looks good! I hope ya made the garlic bread too!" She said, the being more of her favorite part.
