The designer's little tester (Private for DMG)
Alyssa Winters, the founder and owner of Little Wonders Inc, stopped her maroon-metal Maserati Quattroporte in front of the Saint Jerome Emiliani Orphanage. Named after the patron saint of orphans, the facility was run by the Catholic Church, and the kids were kept in strict rules and taught obedience.
In order to not outrage the Sisters, Alyssa wore a simple loose fitting plain dark blue long sleeve dress with a high neckline and reaching down to her ankles, although she had to try her very best not to show how boring she found the outfit. She had to be modest, in order to raise no doubt in the nuns, after all, she came to adopt a child today.
her long, dark brown hair was put in a simple ponytail, and a single tear-shaped silver emerald pendant hung in her neck on a silver chain. No ring, indicating she was still single even in her 30s. It took a very generous donation to the Church, specifically to the local bishop, to smooth things over and allow a single mother to adopt. Then again, the fact she was running a multi-million children's clothing company, did leave no doubt that she could provide for her girl.
Now, the last step was meeting and taking the child she selected. Old-fashioned as it was, the orphanage still had a website with the profiles of each child available for those seeking to adopt. Alyssa already made her choice.
