Haruka Haruno had always wanted to be a princess for as long as she could remember. When she was in middle school, she and some of her friends had worked together to vanquish the entity Dyspear and save the world's dreams.

Fast forward ten years, and she was now the youngest person to ever serve in Japan's National Diet, occupying a chair in the House of Councilors.

In many ways, she was still the same girl, wanting to make sure children were safe and free to dream, and still longing for royalty. Her occupation now got her closer to that reality than ever before, and she hit the ground running.

Meanwhile, her friends had achieved success in their own ways. Minami Kaido had become a marine veterinarian, Kirara Amanogawa had achieved her mother's level of success in the modeling industry, and Yui Nanase had published a number of acclaimed children's books.

They were still as close as ever, so they set one of their regular meetups.

Right now, she was in her office in the National Diet, going over her schedule for the week with her secretary.

"Not to worry," Naomi said to her. "You got plenty of time to head over to Miss Amanogawa's place today for the meeting. Working through the weekend put you ahead of schedule."

"I was lucking Councilor Akabane was amenable to that," Haruka mused. She had once been an intern under the renowned Karma Akabane; now they were colleagues.

Naomi nodded. "Do you want me to accompany you? If so, should I bring the bag?"

Haruka smiled at her secretary's discretion and said, "Sure, having you around is always a delight. Plus, I know my friends love you."

Naomi smiled and soon was carrying a rather large diaper bag.
