Detective Rarity the Padded Prisoner (Private with PokemonVictor)

For the first time in years Canterlot was in the grip of a crime wave. Priceless jewels were vanishing all over the city, even from the homes of the wealthiest of the pony elite. The royal guards were at a loss as the thief seemed to always strike during large social events and parties, so by the time the theft was noticed any trail had gone cold. The guards did all they could, increased patrols, questioning witnesses, even checking with known fences, but nothing got them anywhere. It would take a different kind of detective mind to unravel this crime spree....

Rarity decided to use her own experience from reading detective books to investigate the case. After a few days of investigating, the clues have lead her to... a daycare? Rarity went there to observe.

In one of the inner rooms of the daycare, a pony stands over a chest full of jewels. She's a mare dressed in all black, including a mask, and next to that chest is a clothing rack full of disguises.

"Ah yes," she grins to herself as she picks up an emerald brooch from her latest robbery. "A few more jobs, then I skip town, sell the jewels I don't want, and I'll be set for life. Now should I buy an island or a..." She stops her monologuing as he hears the sound of the side door opening echo through the empty building. She quickly shuts the chest and dashes to peak around the corner of the door to see who's coming in.

Suddenly, a pony bursts in with a flashlight. "Ah-hah! I got you... Suri?" Rarity said, shocked to see that Suri is the one with the jewels.

Suri lurchers back her mask falling to reveal her face,

"Rarity. Should have known, who else would show up to ruin such a good deal for me," Suri snarls as she backs away toward her disguises. However, unbeknownst to Rarity on the other side of the clothing rack she also has knockout gas bombs.

“Shush. I have uncovered all of your secrets. Now, if you know what is good for you, you would follow me or I will take you to the police by force.”

[theJozza]

"Well darn," Suri sighs dramatically and turns to her rack of clothing. "I suppose if that's all I can do then...Oh wait. I almost forgot about...THIS!" She sticks her hooves through the clothes and immediately throws a sphere toward Rarity. It explodes on the ground covering her in green smoke.

Rarity ran away realizing what was happening, but it was too late. She was caught in the smoke before she was able to move an inch.

Suri watches as Rarity succumbs to her knockout gas, a devious grin emerging on her face. As she waits for her to fully go under she reaches back behind her disguise rack and grabs a bundle of rope and a few scarves.

After some unknown amount of time passed, Rarity slowly opened her eyes. She looked around trying to understand her current situation.
