When Craig glanced deeper into his mother's eyes, he could see that look of doubt and worry that he was so used to now. Staring right through that, however, he narrowed his eyes. "Yes, mom. I know that this is going to benefit us both; I've been here for so long, and I really need to get out of the house and explore and try something that I've really been wanting to try. I can see it in your eyes... that you doubt I can do it... that you don't think that I can manage it... so... is that the truth?" Craig replied, finally wanting to get his feelings off of his chest, as well.

[Sami-Chan]

His mother had to look away from her own son's stare. "...I don't want you to worry about me. I'll be the least of your problems on your way. I don't want to force you, but I'm afraid of the possibility of you coming home and feeling devistated if this doesn't turn out well. I just want the best for your well being. I hope you are aware of the consequences that could follow..."

Craig sighed, as well, knowing that his mother had a bit of a point there. Anything could happen along his journey, and anything could happen to potentially destroy his dream. "I know, mom... but I'll just have to be ready if that moment ever comes. But I'll do my best to make sure that everything works out for the best. And of course I'll be thinking about you. You are my mom, after all." Craig replied with a faint chuckle, lightly smiling.

[Sami-Chan]

Craig's mother smiled at the statement, feeling a little better. "Exactly, which is why I worry; I love you so much. Now, finish up. You don't want to keep Emma waiting in case she comes early."

"Hehe, I love you too, mom." Craig replied, still smiling as he chuckled lightly at his mother's loving comment. Nodding his head, he finished up the delicious meal, now standing up and placing his plate into the sink, now washing it with dish soap and placing it into the washing machine with the other dirty dishes. "Anything else, mom?" Craig replied.

[Sami-Chan]

"Just...do your best," his mother simply stated. She stood up from her seat and gave her son a long hug. It would be the last time she would be able to physically do this for a long while. "Remember to keep in contact. Pokemon centers have free video chat if you need it."

[thelonegrunt]

Craig smiled and replied by returning his mother's warm and affectionate hug. "I'll try to stop to every Pokemon Center possible just to stay in touch with you. I'll be just fine, mom. I love you." He replied, once again smiling as he looked into his mother's eyes and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

[Sami-Chan]

His mother smiled; she was proud of her son since the day he was born. She was proud he made her a mother, proud that he was mature enought o make his own decisions, and proud tha. He didn't hold anything against her. Perhaps there was nothing to worry about after all.

After a few more minutes past, Craig was still setting up to go out on his journey. This was when a knock at the door came, and a familiar voice called from behind it. "Oh, Craaaaig!"

"Oop, there she is!" Craig replied, making sure to pack multiple sets of clothes; many shirts, jeans, shorts, socks... and diapers, along with changing supplies. Blushing at the last part, he crammed them into the bag and zipped it up. All dressed and ready to go, Craig nodded and gave his mother an assuring smile before heading to the door, crinkling with every single movement. Upon opening the door, he was greeted by his friend, who was the same age as he was.

"I appreciate your patience, Emma." Craig chuckled, now walking out the door and smirking at the girl. "So you all ready to go?"

"Since an hour ago," Emma replied teasingly, eagerness and excitement in her tone. "No more waiting this time. It's either we go now, or never ever!"
