"So," Gon said, pausing his eating, "Do you have any plans for after school? Aunt Mito is working late and I kind of have a lot of math homework." The pitch of his voice went up as he tried to play it off like he was just making casual conversation rather than begging Killua for help.

Killua chuckled "lemmie guess. You can't do it yourself and need me to help you out" he laughed "Don't sweat it, I'll come help you out" he said putting a arm around him. He didn't really have much to do tonight anyway so coming over and helping his friend out sounded good to him.

Gon was prepared to break out the puppy dog eyes to convince his friend, but was relieved he didn't have to resort to that. "Thanks man, you're a good friend," he said, putting his arm around Killua n return. "And if there's ever any homework or anything I can help you out with, just ask."

Killua let go and went back to his food "Yea , that would come in handy , if you were better than me at anything" he laughed. Gon was better in some subjects , but Killua wasn't going to admit that. Even so the offer was nice anyway. So anyway , what we got after lunch?" he asked , hoping it was something easy and not too demanding.

"Kilu-aaa you're mean," Gon pouted, taking his arm back as well. He considered the question for a moment, "I think we have PE next. That'll be fun at least: no homework, no boring lectures, and best of all getting to do something besides just sitting around!"

Killua sighed "Great , climbing up ropes and jumping off springboards and stuff. How come we have to do it, it's not like I'm gonna be a gymnast" he whined , thinking of faking an injury to get out of it. "Hey I'm not doing it for you! I'm just helping" he said , not wanting to get conned into doing it for him, it was his work.

Gon shrugged, "Like I said, at least it's better than sitting in class. And some of that stuff is actually fun." He gasped excitedly, "Maybe we'll get to play dodge ball." He scoffed, "Do you really think I'd do that?" He actually was planning to try just what Kallua had said, hoping that between his sucking at math and the sad puppy face he could at least get his friend to do at least a few problems for him.

Killua had his doubts about that , sure class was boring and he had to sit through it , but it was hardly much worse than being forced to move around and being shouted at. "Doge ball wouldn't be to bad , he wasn't too bad at that and only ever went in a huff when he couldn't win which was understandable and was thankfully not frequent. "I think you would try if there was any chance that I might do it for you and you don't"

Gon sighed. "Fine, you got me. But math is just soooo boring." He picked at what was left of his food, clearing his plate. Finally the bell rang, signaling the end of the period. "Come on," he said, standing up, "Let's getting going."

"Yea , it's no more fun for me , doesn't mean I'm going to do mine and yours" he said as he got up , leaving what was left , but taking the sweet with him "fine fine , I'm coming" he said as he followed behind him, slinging his bag back over his shoulder and walking beside Gon.
