Diaperbound - A Padded Adventure Through the Stars

Earth is no more. All that remained of the birthplace of Humanity was a second asteroid belt. The destroyer of Earth was not another planet or other cosmic event; it was a grotesque tentacled beast known only as the Ruin.

But Humanity survived. In the five centuries since the Terrene Protectorate was formed, Humans have spread throughout the cosmos, meeting other species. Sometimes these meetings were violent, but most of the time they were peaceful. But the threat of the Ruin was still out there.

And so, a brave soul armed with the six Ancient Artifacts of the Cultivator, summoned this divine being back into the Universe, forever sealing away the Ruin.

This is not the story of that brave hero. Instead, this is the story of Xiptoltic, a Grounded Avian and his crew of fortune seekers and treasure hunters.

An Avali, which was basically one of the lesser known species of the system, was part of this crew. They typically went by the name of "Anara" And was a ship mechanic that was also female. She was mainly colored tan, but she had gray feathers and some simple orange accents. A really earthy kind of look.

A lot of the time, she would be on the ship, either relaxing in her own room, making sure things worked, and making sure other things weren't broken so other things didn't break. On occasion, she would get creative, wanting to make something, that typically blew up in her face though, but nothing too bad, really.

What really stuck out about Anara was how addicted she could be to her work, and how she adapted to that. She pretty much seen working more often than not, but that's when people are looking. Also when they were looking is that she was wearing padding. Yes, she typically would be seen wearing a diaper, and that was because she was kind of... Strange. It was like she had no practically dignity and had a tendency to over work herself, which could easily be masked by her somewhat eccentric and naive personality. While she was not open about it, it was there nonetheless underneath that jumpsuit she wore that was a combination of flexible material and some plating, making the area around her waist somewhat more puffy. She literally wore it because she'd give herself no bathroom breaks as a result of being so engrossed in her work. Either she wouldn't be able to make it or she'd literally wind up falling asleep at the worst time, given its purpose.

Anara had come onto this team not for the sake of treasure, but because she saw potential for her to do what she'd like most, and that was tinkering. That, and it beat living on a planet, completely and utterly clueless on how to do things. Unsurprisingly, that is what she was doing now, working on a display in a lounge area on the ship. She was listening to music on a little devices, and she was even working and dancing a bit to the tune of it. Obviously, she was enjoying herself.

Victoria, or, Vix as she introduced herself to everybody, was the muscle of the ship. She spent most of her time training, doing target practice, or helping out with cleaning. She was a little uptight, being one of the few survivors of humanity. She vieuws it as her mission to be prepared for everything!

Vix is tall, around 6 feet, but not built particularly large. She was more muscular than most of course, but not to the point of being bulky. She sported raven hair, reaching to her shoulders, mostly rather messy. In the ship she mostly wears a tank top, and some army trousers.

While Vix's prime way of combat is up close and personal, she is also trained with guns of any variety, to ensure maximum combat efficiency. And despite being one of the few remnants of humanity, she still values her friends over herself.

The fact that she had become incontinent is a massive bother to her. She finds it embarrassing, and hides it as much as she can. And due to her strong built and her diet, she is mostly confined to larger and thicker diapers. She gladly helps her crew get changed when needed though, but prefers to change herself.

Vix had come to this team in hopes of finding more humans along the way, and somewhat rebuilding her home.

Xiptoltic was seated at the bridge. The ship was currently orbiting above a desert planet. S.A.I.L had previously indicated that there was some evidence of an active Kluex temple there. The Avian cooed softly in thought as he decided to beam down, build a crude settlement/camp and maybe pillage the temple. It would have sounded ludicrous to many other Avians; one of their own defiling Kluex's sacred sites?

In truth, Xiptoltic had no love for the Stargazers. Sure, their tomb furnishings and other treasures fetched a fair number of pixels but it barely made up for the fact that the Stargazers hated the Grounded and tried to have them killed whenever they saw them.

Regardless, he had made up his mind.

He headed out to the lounge area of the ship and looked over his crew. There was Vix -- a Human female who was built like an Apex -- Anara, the Avali engineer.

Of course, he knew about Anara's modifications to the teleporter that allowed them to teleport even from deep under a planet's crust...at some costs.

"Questioning. Captain, are we beaming down to Ketharaeis IV?"

The query was from Overclock, a Glitch who had came aboard the ship and served as one of its mechanics.

"Yes, we are."

"Delighted." Overclock got his sword and rifle ready. "I shall be awaiting by the teleporter."

"Vix, Anara!" Xiptoltic called. "We're heading planetside soon!"

Anara was still working on that display, but calling her name typically got her attention, regardless of the head phones. It did kind of scare her a bit as she wasn't exactly to used to suddenly being called, but she was adapting. Anyway, plugging her ear buds out and simply seeing Overclock getting prepped and such, she would get a clue on what was about to happen.

"Alright, I'll go get ready!" She would call back before no doubt getting what she considered to be the necessary equipment. Specifically a pack she carried that often contained her little gadgets and gizmos and a visor that gave her a bit of a heads up display. Really good for those dark places.

Not needing much, else, she would only pick up a simple gun a shield before heading over to wait by that teleporter with Overclock... Except she had to do a quick check before she embarrassed herself or something. So she did just that, feeling around her waist. Feeling nothing, she would simply smile to herself and get going.

Xiptoltic went to his quarters and locked the door before he opened a small pod chest containing possibly the most embarrassing item aboard the ship.

A partially opened package of diapers. Wearing something that was associated with Avian chicks was embarrassing enough but the Venazau, the Floran quartermaster, had to get one with an overtly childish feather design (just where did he find this anyways?). Even worse was the feathers on the crotch of the diaper would fade when wet.

Blushing so furiously that it could be seen through his light blue plumage, he used the toilet and then hastily powdered and diapered himself, taking care to ensure everything was done correctly and any incriminating evidence carefully put back in the pod chest.

The Avian then put his uniform back on and grabbed a Graxus Nebulacrasher from the weapon rack. The shotgun was unique in that it fired explosive energy bullets instead of metal slugs

Xiptoltic then strode into the teleporter room where Overclock and Anara were waiting.

"Annoyed. Where is Vix?" Overclock asked.

Vix groaned as she was called. She rolled out of bed with a loud 'thud'. Despite being a trained warrior, Vix was not good at waking up.

"Yeah yeah... Comming" she groans to herself as she sits up and goes to work. She changed her diaper, which was absolutely loaded, and put a new one on. Her diapers were pink, with hearts and ponies on them. A little embarrassing, but it was all they found. They happened to have found a storage container of those, so it was what they rolled with.

Seeing as Vix was by now a veteran warrior, who had gotten her hands on some pretty shiny loot by now, her equipment was out of this world. She had a very powerful Remote Grenade Launcher, which she had called 'Domitation'. It did exaxtly what both names implied. But her bread and butter were her two Supernova Gauntlets. Punching was her game after all.

She put on her uniform, tidied up a bit, and walked up to the teleporter room, cup of coffee still in hand. Upon entering the room she gave people a nod and a little muttering noise.

(Sorry if the weapons are op. I just picked the ones that sound cool. I was gonna go for the Doomcannon, but we already have a shotgun user.)

Anara looked to the others a few times, wondering about something obviously. Eventually, she decided to speak as it didn't seem like anyone else was hopping to similar thinking here.

"So... You guys want me to teleport us down into the temple," And take the risk of their dignity burning, "Or would you prefer to not... Deal with the extra um... "Work?"" She asked, looking between everyone. Surely at this point, everyone should have known the issues the extra range caused. While Arana was used to it, she was pretty unsure about the others.

Vix grunts annoyed. "I know what it does. That is why we're wearing those ridiculous diapers, remember. We're all incontinent, it's not as if it matters." She stated. Vix finished her coffee and crossed her arms.

The girl knew the risk. But complaining about it now was usess. They all needed diapers, so they all knew the problem. She just wanted to get it over with.

"Is crew liking new toilet pantss?" Venazau said from behind his tablet. "Toilet pants" being his term for diapers.

"Venazau, we've been over this before. Do not bring that up in public!" Xiptoltic scolded. He kept his face neutral but the blush visible through his blue plumage said more than anything else. That and the diaper between his legs occupied his mind.

"Floran not in public. Floran is aboard ssship!" Venazau smiled, showing his distinctly predatory smile.

"Embarrassed. Why are we talking about this?" Overclock asked.

"Okay, no more talk about what everyone is or is not wearing under their uniform!" Xiptoltic sighed and rubbed his beak with a hand. At Anara's words, he scratched his chin and pondered.

On one hand, it would let him get in and out of the temple quickly...on the other, soiling himself didn't exactly appeal to him...especially having to stew in his own droppings for possibly the next few hours.

"We're landing on the surface, Anara," Xiptoltic said. "Okay, stand by!" He and Overclock moved to the teleporter and stood in the bays.

(OOC - I figured the modded teleporter would cause negative effects even if they aren't teleporting underground.)
