"No one here's strong enough to beat them yet... but I'm just getting stronger every day." Luffy grinned. Chopper and Usopp clapped lightly for him.

Tails sweated a bit. The atmosphere in the room was intense suddenly. "What's this meeting about anyway?"

"The districts of this huge ass school are finally going to go at it right?" Deidara asked no one in particular.

"All three of them are here which means it's highly probable." Kakuzu said.

"Oh! My mistake. He made you pee your pants." Sonic kept teasing Ranma.

I can tell just by looking you have a ways to go." Erza said. She had said similar things to Natsu and Luffy. The three of them were quite the powerhouses...

"Eh? What's up?" Sonic asked Ranma suddenly.

"Yosh! Let's get started then." Aokiji said suddenly... then he fell asleep.

"OI! Don't do that now!" The one in red scolded.

Aokiji woke up. "Eh? Oh. Sorry."

"Anyway. Today's meeting is special. With the start of the school year, something of a first has been instructed to go down with all the newbies and oldies of this place. As you all know, this school is seperated into districts representing different lands and areas. These lands have formed a union and agreed to have students come to this school as a means of peace between the nations... however, it's finally TIME!" Kizaru explained.

The crowd exclaimed a collective gasp.

"Time? Time for what?" Chopper was suddenly scared.

"What's going on?" Tails asked no one in particular.

"Finally. I've been waiting for so damn long. This facade of pretending we nations get along with each has gone on WAY too long." Deidara sneered.

The gasps and murmurs of the crowd told Neo that something big was happening, but he wasn't sure what. "Well, I'm sure I have a ways to go," Neo told Erza, taking both a golden heart-shaped locket and a pendant resembling a spinnerbox out from under his shirt, "But you haven't seen everything I have to offer, either."

Shadow smirked as he heard the news. "This should make things interesting," He muttered.

Erza simply glanced at the item and spoke again. "It goes for all of us. Confidence is good. But overconfidence will be your downfall. You simply can't insinuate things like that about those three legends sitting on stage."

"Right. Then how about we get started. Each of you has two days to form your group of people and decide which district you wish to represent. If you are from a certain district and wish to represent another, that is allowed." Aokiji said.

"Pff. No duh." Hidan laughed.

"If you aren't from any district and choose to join a group with your friends to represent one, that's fine too. Each group much decide on a leader and must have stand-ins on the ready in case a member of your initial signed up group cannot fight. After the two days are up the classes will resume and your team members may choose to fight whoever they wish on the school grounds so long as they aren't on your team. Whoever loses will not only be banned from the competition, they'll be put into the regression camp."

That got more gasps.

"And after that, the OFFICIAL games begin. So, choose wisely... and if you simply wish to not participate... that's fine too." Aokiji said. "Though it'll be hard to graduate without this on your resume..."

Ranma bit his lip. He barely knew anyone at this school. Much less anyone who would be willing to team up with him.

"Regression camp?" Neo said to himself. He didn't like the sound of it very much, and it made him think of his past a bit. He clutched his heart locket a bit tighter. "An all-out war throughout the school, and a nasty punishment for failure... This will be a challenging school year."

Sonic noticed Ranma's worried look and chuckled.

"Excuse me! Are stand-ins apart of this battle?" Usopp asked.

"Yes." Aokiji said.

"And can this battle still be put on your resume or record even if the stand-ins aren't used?" Usopp asked.

"Yeah." Aokiji said.

"YA-TAH!" Usopp and Chopper high fived. "We platy our cards right and we can make it through without having to fight. Luffy! Let us be the stand-ins for whatever team you're on!"

"Heheh. Sure." Luffy smiled.

Natsu raised his hand. "How many members per team?"

"No more than 11 members per team with the same number of stand-ins if you choose to have stand-ins at all." Aokiji said.

"I'll gladly be a stand-in." Lucy said.

"I fight with Natsu! Always!" Happy said.

Zoro grinned and stared at the stage. "How interesting. I've always wanted a blood bath to clear the air around here."
