alpha looked at the box ghost with wide eyes. he then promptly let out an ear-piercing screech. if one was able to sense the use of special energy, they'd be able to tell that he was pumping his voidstone energy unconsciously into the screech, turning into a borderline sonic assault. though it was also easy to tell he was scared, since the puffyness at his waist increased, indicating that he had christened his pull-up.

omega looked on at the proceeds with a knowing smirk. "now things get interesting. little bugger's tapping into his voidstone energy. given, he's likely not doing it consciously. however..it's a good first step. how that he's unleashed that energy, he'll be more able to use it.

"and knowing this, you allowed him control? i hate to use the term, but that was a foolish idea. did you forget that only one of us had to win to ensure our world's survival? quite frankly, it's likely we were paired up in hopes that we'd destroy each other and thin the playing field. that..whatever he is, doesn't feel right. he screams deception." thomas said

alpha glared at the box ghost doing his little dance. his momentary fear was gone. replacing it was another emotion. rage, searing,bubbling rage. enough rage in fact to cause his adult mind, or at least a rage directed version of it to snap into control. "ever heard of void energy? it does aweful things to a soul. here...HAVE SOME!" he said, firing off a small beam at the box ghost. normally, such an attack would destroy a spiritual creature on the box ghost's level. fortunately for the hapless spirit, in alpha's current state, it would only cause ungodly pain, like being electricuted repeatedly, with much the same visual effects. and of course, alpha was back to his previous state of mind almost instantly. looking upon the violent, violet purple lightshow with a childish giggle.

omega sighed at his companion's antics "please reattach your rear to your body. it's rather unbecoming of you to litterally unravel like that. amazing, isn't it? his mind is resilient enough to remain backed-up under that childish surface. of course..to survive becoming a watcher, it had to be. a despicable, messy, inperfect process is what it is. make one error, and the subject is gone. if the subject's willpower isn't high enough, then they'll end up warped into semimindless abominations, bent on devouring souls and energy to substain themselves. really, the fault lies in the catalyst used to make watchers. void energy, particularly from voidstone crystals fused into every cell of the body. the problem with this is that void energy is 97 percent fatal to living things. it corrodes and corrupts, because it comes from Voideus, the embodiment of negativity, conflict and evil. those who survive the initial stages of void energy corruption via willpower such as watchers are essentially walking corpses. the only thing binding them to a body is the imprint of their will upon the energy flowing through them." omega said. he was prone to exposition. it happened to be one of his few flaws in terms of keeping his mysterious vibe. he just couldn't stop talking once he opened his mouth.

thomas sighed. "look. we could stand here all day and postulate about what could happen, or weather our worlds are the same or not..i don't know the answers. but i do know that i'm not gonna sit back while my world is at risk. as far as i'm concerned, this tournament seems fishy. i think i'm going to snoop around, and see what i can dig up." thomas said, bringing them out of his mindscape.

The Box Ghost then keep contorting and changing shape in both comical and horrific ways from the pain and arcing of energy on him. he wished he could pass out from the pain but sadly lower level specters lacked till they grew in power the ability to pass out or sleep much if any atleast none without enough outer influence

Nightmare Moon who heard Alpha say something about harming a soul and had stumbled on the scene of the Box ghost in pain let out laughing in a evil yet child'ish sounding laugh at the same time founding someone in pain funny.But her laughing slowed down abit when her sense of smell picked up the smell of cooling urine that seems to be coming from Alpha. She plans to address that once she gets over her laughing from what she sees at the moment
