Layfon stared at the XLR8 form Ben, the closest thing to it in the regios world was a contaminoid controlling a human. He began to manipulate the threads, sewing them up into a wall between him and Ben, while at the same time increasing his kei flow to the thread that Jecht was pulling on. Although focusing on both those things, he had to stop the kei flow to the thousands of threads he had out gathering information. He sighed, as he felt the strain on his mind lifted. But, quickly drew another breath to stimulate his kei vein. "C-A-N Y-O-U Understand me?" Layfon asked, articulating the words loudly and slowly. It wasn't unheard of for someone in that state to talk, but it was for them to understand speech.

meanwhile in the trees above ben and Layfon, a figure hung from a branch using his left arm, he had short blond hair and wore a mostly black outfit, consisting of a buttoned up white shirt under a black blazer, black slacks and a pair of black shoes; mostly normal..except for the fact that in place of his left arm there was a mass of black and silver energy in the form of a two piece gauntlet, the two pieces connected by sparks of purple fire. as he hung from the branch he listened in to the confrontation between the two belown him, careful to hide his presence among the tree limbs

Layfon blinked, as no one in this world seemed to have the common sense not to touch razor wire. So, he adjusted the kei in the threads Ben was attacking, so he wouldn't get hurt. He was fairly impressed when his wire snapped, and Jecht was barley cut. The wires could usually cut through the shells of contaminoids in there earlier stages. "Oh that's good, I guess your not a contaminoid then." Layfon said, thankful someone else was here, besides Pinky Pie and Jecht. Even if they did have a blinking light on there chest. The experienced military artist easily detected Thomas. He gestured to the area above them to Ben with his eyes, as Ben timed out.

Layfon turned over to look at Thomas, as he sensed him come down from the trees. "I guess you could say that." Layfon replied to Ben, as he looked Thomas over. He quickly did a double take of Ben, as he returned to his human form. Layfon blinked, and decided he must be seeing things. His arms rested idle by his sides, as his threads continued to patrol the forest. He noticed Pinky Pie, and Jecht coming towards them through his threads. But made no actions because of it. "Who are you?" Layfon asked, directing the question towards both Ben and Thomas.

as jecht walked through the woods, he noticed something familiar laying by a tree, it was a small ball, mostly blue with white on a central strip, with small knobs all over it. "never thought i'd see a blitzball here..." he thought with a smirk, picking up the ball and dusting it off before continuing to walk on "it isn't much, but in my hands it's almost as good as a sword" he stated as an afterthought in explanation

He threads stopped dancing around the forest, and quickly brought them back. Careful not to pour to much kei in them, and make them more visible. His eyes stayed trained on Thomas.
