Layfon watched Jecht go about his routine while casually eating his cupcake. Even when the force of the air knocked around his hair he didn't seem to care. He had good reason of course, he was confident that he could beat Jecht, and do exactly what he was doing with some more practice with the ball. But he wasn't the show off type. Layfon took a seat where he was after backing up like Jecht told him. "Good job." Layfon said, clapping his hands together.

meanwhile, somewhere far off.. a figure was watching the group. he was cloaked in shadow, save for his right eye, which glowed violet. all around him, screens showed different battles that they had been in. he glanced at one in particular. it showed a battle between Thomas and a large creature that seemed to be made of lava and fire. the scene then shifted, to show that same creature, reduced to a inanimate statue. "hmm..yes, that will work nicely. let us see..how these heroes fair against each other's foes.." the figure said. his eye's glow increased for a moment, and the creature returned to it's live state, then disappeared..
in the sky above the group, a fireball began descending upon the surface. it fell a short distance away, burning through a hut. soon after, ii began to take shape, until the creature formed. "ARKWRIGHT!! I WILL FIND YOU. IGNUS WILL BURN YOU. BURN YOU TO ASH!!" the creature roared out.
Thomas heard this, and groaned. "oh, crap. not this guy again. i thought i left him as a piece of modern art after our last fight."

Layfon didn't even flinch at the fire ball, but his expression of care free cupcake eating had hardened into ice. "Everyone get to shelter!" She screamed as he looked up at the creature. A contaminoid? Look strange, could it be a matured phase? Probably. Fuck. He didn't take long to pick his dite, restoring the adamantium dite, a large curved katana.

Layfon opened up his mouth to let out a disorienting loud frequency as he prepared to jump up at the creature.

Ignus merely allowed the blade to stab into him. he then proceeded to let loose a burst of lava at layfon. "PUNY MAN! YOU THINK YOUR SWORD CAN HARM IGNUS? IGNUS IS..."
"ugly! eat this, you stupid pile of lava!" Thomas interrupted. he had currently phaseshifted into a diamond form, and dropkicked Ignus in the face. which then proceeded to cave in due to being made of rather malleable semimolten rock. "ladies and gentlemen, meet general Ignus. he happens to be one of the brotherhood's top soldiers. he's also an example of experimentation gone wrong." thomas said. "i'd suggest keeping your guard up. he's not very inteligent, but he's very hard to get rid of."

Layfon had no problem dodging the burst of Lava, slashing his sword and letting loose a curved kei projectile as he fell back to the earth.

Pinkie Pie being a enigma with varies unnatural powers even for her world produced a party cannon aimed at Ignus but this is a special one loaded with explosive cake batter do to unstable liquid rainbow,even though liquid rainbow is normally stable this is from one of the rare bad batches that was messed up that and Liquid Rainbow will become unstable at a specif date when not used.That and even standard liquid rainbow is volatile on its own so its even worse being unstable ''Oh so prince Grandsword Mcnight choose to send you,lets test how you like my special cake batter and special cakes''Again Pinkie Pie produced cakes and these have a swirling mass of rainbows on the icing again it has unstable liquid rainbow she makes them just encase of enemy problems even though on her own home planet she didn't need to worry she made them anyway. At the moment the cannon fired sending the explosive cake better at Ignus

Bens omintrix light up showing a pony,some kind of parasite looking thing and something like Ignus ''Oh cool 3 new guy's lets see you look good hope you are a useful alien off the bat ''Ben slammed the omitrix down on the parasite looking thing unknown to Ben its the same thing that took over Thomas's arm .

ignus was sliced in half by the kei. though he quickly reformed. "IGNUS IS IMMORTAL!!" he roared. he then tossed thomas away. being blown back by the batter. it was then that jecht joined the fray. he would have prefered to have a sword, but as he had stated before, in his hands; a blitzball was almost as effective. he kicked it hard into ignus's face, hard enough to knock the head off. ignus's body stumbled around clumsilly, trying to get his head and reattach it. "not to doubt the effectiveness of you all, but you'll need to destroy his gauntlets! without those, he'll harden into inert stone." thomas said. he then turned to ben. "i've got an idea. bond to my other arm. the boost should let me access my non solid elements with ease. i'll turn to water and cool him down a bit to root him to the ground. then you guys can break his limiter gauntlets."

Layfon shrugged, letting his kei run stedily. These guys seemed strong enough for him too not need so fight. So he decided to do just that. He stood on a branch to watch the battle unfold, if he didn't need to fight, he had no intention of doing so. He kept his DITE restored none the less, just incase.

It took Ben a second to think of what Thomas meant on the bond but it clicked what Thomas meant a second later . Though Ben has no clue how the hell to do such a thing choose to attempt it by jumping at Thomas's other arm with his mouth open succeeding in bounding to Thomas arm.

The cake batter which hadn't blown up upon impact blew up seconds later from being heated and Pinkie started pelting Ignus with the cakes that should blow up upon impact as she then looked at Layfon for a moment finding said person not doing anything ''So anything you wanna talk about on your homeworld?''

Thomas looked at the now glowing green arm and smirked. "alright..let's do this. phaseshift duo. rage of the oceans!" he said, crossing his arms. both shined brightly, violet and green blending together. when it faded, thomas shot himself at Ignus, who recoiled in surprise as he began to solidify "WHAT?! TWO?! TWO ARMS OF ANIMA?!" he said in question, as thomas formed into mist, flashing him a smirk "nope. one's a new friend. meet ben." he said, turning solid, and kicking off of him. "hey ben, if you've got any heavy hitters, now would be a good time to use them." meanwhile, jecht launched a punch right through ignus's chest.
