The Distressed (Private)

[Sami-Chan]

"Oh?" Ms. Abendroth seemed amused by that, since Tali's reputation didn't give any clues about this. Looking back down at the clipboard, she took some notes. "Have you ever danced in front of anybody, like for a school, earlier in your life, and are you good at it? If you like dancing, surely you practiced, no?"

[Sarah Lockheart]

"No, never for anyone else, not in plays or anything." Tali twiddles her thumbs as the lady asks her questions. "How should I know if I'm good or not. If the music's right I just let it out, I feel better afterwards. As for practice I do what I can when I can, which isn't much."

[Sami-Chan]

"Hm. Perhaps you'd like to be a part of the entertainment show that we have here for the other girls and staff here." Ms. Abendoth suggested. "There are many others in it, but none of them are dancers. That is your choice alone, though. We won't force you, but it is a way to relieve stress off of the ones preforming. You might think that standing up on stage would cause more stress, but trust me; it doesn't."

[Sarah Lockheart]

"I don't know, I'm not fond of crowds or people, they've never been fond of me." One of her hands goes to her upper-back length black hair and starts to twirl it. For all she knew her 'dancing' could have been mindless flailing. "...Could I see the stage and all that?"

[Sami-Chan]

"Of course." Ms. Abendoth nodded, standing up and allowing Tali to leave the room first. "The other girls who preform thought the same thing as you did, and each one now preforms magnificently. I assure that the same will happen to you."

[Sarah Lockheart]

Tali got a bit defensive. "I didn't say I'd do it yet. I just want to see it. I've never seen an actual stage or the dressing rooms first hand." She's quiet for a bit of the walk before speaking again. "What if my 'performance' is horrible? I get hit or something don't I? Thats the catch right?"

[Sami-Chan]

"Sorry for the misconception." Ms. Abendoth apologized, then answered Tali's question. "Not exactly. First, you must show me what you can truely do, and, if you are good enough, you may preform if you wish. If you are bad when you during the show, the punishment is merely looking foolish in front of everyone."

Ms. Abendoth's apology seemed to put Tali at ease. "Fair enough I guess." Honestly she wasn't to worried about looking stupid on stage, if anyone was dumb enough to tease her about it a broken nose and some knocked out teeth would get the message across. She's silent for most of the rest of the walk before piping up again. "So where the hell is this place?"

[Sami-Chan]

"Right here, actually." Ms. Abendoth said, leading Tali into the auditorium....which was just an empty room with lined up chairs and a fairly large stage. It was obvious that this was the room that they built last and didn't have enough money left to make it fancy. There was currently a show going on now, with a small-looking girl doing a magic act.
"Here it is. We have shows every day, one for each of the sections of the orphanage, excluding weekends."

Tali's eyes gaze around the room, taking it what few details there were. Through out their walk she also took note of the route they took and any security camera's in the hallways. "Pretty impressive considering how crappy the rest of the place looks. It's got dressing rooms and all that in the back I'm asuming?" Her eyes rest on the girl doing magic tricks on the stage.
