Miyako's injuries luckily weren't as bad as before. His shoulder got stabbed, and that's gonna suck for a bit, but outside of that were minor cuts and bruises. The samurai can be taken prisoner and put to trial for his actions by the local government. Some of the soldiers were able to retreat and fall back. Some of them were incapacited with minor injuries. Due to some of their actions in the fight, some sadly had to be left to die. "Mom....my...." Miyako called to Kiyomi as she was dressing his wound. The sounds of flames burning and buildings crumbling can be heard in the background.

“Shhh, don’t say a word.” She put a finger to this mouth as he tried speaking.
, not wanting an explanation in the midst of chaos. He shouldn’t waste his energy speaking for now - they still had to evacuate this place. On route back to the shrine, she might try to patch up an few other civilians… but with the cries of sorrow that permeated the air, it was easy to deduce the ultimatum for some of them.

“Alright, can you… walk now?” She hesitantly spoke those words. She didn’t know what mystical power he had received, but with how he moved, Kiyomi deduced his abilities must’ve been suppressed or some sort.

He likely still isn't even aware he has power. How much of that was skill, and how much was divine intervention? He moved dragging his body along. Leaving the soldiers who didn't retreat, and wounded themselves or each other to die. Sadly, they have to do the same for the civilians he didn't make it in time to save. Luckily as they climb the steps to the temple it's clear, many were able to make it. Along with some soldiers who surrendered. The younger soldiers, just bots not knowing what they were forced into, were not treated with as much hostility from the survivors. However as they reach the shrine they see the priests slightly panicking, not knowing where to house or feed everyone.

Seeing the state of the shrine, Kiyomi immediately inquired one of the priests. "Are we due for any supplies?" She asked, but, with his frantic expression told what she needed to know. Hell, even if regular deliveries were scheduled, she doubted that those convoys wouldn't be attacked.
Regardless, she brought him back into the room that he'd been in all that time. This time, there were a couple other people there in the room, as the others tried to find space to placed the injured.

"Okay, okay... let's get you fixed up." She said, setting him down and beginning to inspect the wounds. It wasn't anything serious, of course, but she just had to make sure.

(I think a small interlude with Amaterasu can be done as shes treating his wounds?)

From exhaustion and fatigue, Miyako soon passes out. Gaining a bit of a fever in the process. As he rests and gets his wounds dressed. He tries to recover, but physically and spiritually. Speaking of spiritual, as the boy sleeps he opens his eyes to a meadow. Miyako looks around, and sees flowers, green grass, fruit trees, and a warm sun beaming down. "Where.....am I......?" He asks mostly to himself as his voice echos. This does not appear to be just some dream.

"Welcome, dear." An sweet, soothing, yet omnipresent voice spoke, the sound gently caressing the flora. A small breeze blew over the scene. If the boy were to look a little closer, or spend a little more time, he'd fine out the source of the voice.

"You've done just right for your first outing - I'd reckon you'd deserve a small reward, don't you, Miyako?"

He couldn't speak, he moved in closer, and then he he felt the gift being bestowed onto him. It felt soothing. It felt correct. It was made for him.

He didn't understand, but he could feel it. An warm embrace, drawing him in, and something inside of him out. Was it strength? Was it something else? He wouldn't know - He shouldn't. All that matters is that little task assigned to him...

Miyako gasped sitting up. He looked around and it was dark. He was in his his room. Well, the room he's been cared for in. Miyako has no idea how long he's been asleep. He feels his arm, and there's a bandage over his shoulder, and he moved his arm about. His facial expression indicates he noticed something odd with his shoulder, but he instead gets up to find Lady Kiyome.

Hours has passed since the initial brunt of the invasion had occurred. Unfortunately, there had been some recorded facilities but, with the help of Miyako, most of the civilians were kept out of harm. As for the warlord… after his failure at the hands of the boy, his act of taking his own life to spare the shame placed another number on the tally.

Most of the civilians had already left; Only those with severe injuries remained. Many a people wanted to give their personal gratitude to the assumed girl that saved them all, but Kiyomi quickly dispersed them off.
