“That’s okay,” She hugged him, patting his back. “I’ll just change you if you had to go potty..”

Now, time for something different. She slowly stood up, holding his hands as though leading him. “Miyako-chan, try standing up for me, okay? I’ll catch you if you’re going to fall.”

Miyako attempts to stand up and his legs feels like a thousand pin needles are sticking him repeatedly. Outside of using his thighs to be able to crawl just now, he was not able to get up and stand without cutely falling down onto his rear end. He whimpers and looks up at his Oka-Chan before trying again only to get the same result. Now the tears were falling and he's started crying.

“Hey, hey, take it easy there!” Kiyomi sighs, comforting the crying boy. She wiped his tears with a small cloth. “Does it hurt? Or are your legs too weak to stand up?” She proved. After all, both might have quite the different implications.

“Do you want to try again? It’s okay if you don’t…”

"It huts, Mommy!" He cries in her chest. It's a simple matter of his muscles are asleep after days of zero use. He needs to probably practice more, but he doesn't know this, so he can't tell this to Lady Kiyomi.

“Erm…” She thinks about it for a moment. Even disregarding his supposed injuries, she knows that a lot of bedridden patients often are unable to move their legs for quite a bit, so she wonders what it is. “Are you sure it hurts?”

Otherwise, she just needs to hold him until he gets used to it… right?

"It felt prickly, Mommy." There we go. That should tell her that his legs were just asleep. He just needs to be held and assisted a little bit. Like a baby taking their first steps. He looks to her with bright eyes.

“Oh! In that car, you just need a little bit of practice, don’t you?” She lifted his head to her, “Let’s try again, shall we?” . At least it helps that he probably still remembers how to walk.

Holding the child’s hands, she slowly began to stand up, prompting the boy to do the same. “Up you go, hold on tight.”

He hangs on to her for dear life as she helped him move about. He took little baby steps and cringed a bit. Miyako begins to whine before looking to his Oka-San and feeling motivated to impress her. So he tried to take his first steps with her there.

“There, one easy step at a time. You can do it!” She encouraged him on, making sure to keep her own hands firm

Miyako holds her hands as he slowly takes each step. Every time he takes a bigger step, his balance is thrown off a bit. They go about this until Miyako gets a bit tired of it. He whines to her showcasing his emotions and thoughts. Expressing them on his face.
