He looked to her. He seemed scared as he layed on her. Miyako buried his face in her busom. Almost as if to hide. Is he....hiding from his past? What is it he's scared to talk about? Does it have to do with why he is so attached to her. His grip on her tightens. He's such a mystery. Maybe he's afraid she'll get rid of him if she learns this mysterious knowledge.

She gingerly smiled as she caressed the girlish boy. "That's okay," Kiyomi whispered into his ears, the boy clinging onto her like it's the last thing he'll know. "I'll be here for you, and you don't have to do like I asked."

Miyako trusts her word. He nestles his maternal figure and stays with her closely. Over the next few days Miyako gets used to walking and even starts toddling around the shrine. With the helpings of milk his voice is slowly getting better, but their supply is getting low. Miyako happily plays and explores around. Even reverting to crawling when walking gets tiring, but he does volunteer to help Kiyomi Ka-Chan when she allows him. He's Mommy's little helper and brings joy and brightness where it lacked around the shrine.

Of course, the dwindling supplies of milk did not get past Kiyomi's eyes. She had contemplated about it, but she realized that it was one commodity that they did not have privilege for in these trying times. There was another way for milk, of course... something that she did not have much experience in doing, of course. She felt her own bosoms, which, while it wasn't large, wasn't small by any means; She did not know if she could even produce milk.

Miyako was playing outside while his Mommy was sweeping. Summer would be approaching quite soon, and it was heating up. A fine time for traveling will soon be here. Perhaps the shrine will get more visitors. Miyako crawled over to his Oka-Chan, and made sure not to mess up the pile she was sweeping. "Mommy, Mommy! Miya-Tan thirsty! Milky please!?" He asked in that sweet tone with an even sweeter smile.

"Phew..." She wiped the beads of sweat off her forehead with her arms. Most of the leaves had already been cleaned up, and she'll have some time soon. Though, her work was interrupted by the small, girlish voices of an familiar little boy... "Oh, Miyako! What's wrong, had an accident?"

...Huh? "Erm... Milk? Oh, right..." There it was, something she'd been dreading ever since the supplies ran low. With how bleak the situation had been, fresh milk was quite an commodity that they could not afford. There was that one solution, however. She placed the rake off to the side, against the walls, before beckoning him forth. "Well...follow me, okay, Miyako-chan?"

Miyako exclaims with a happily little tune of approval "Haiiiiii~". From there he reaches up and takes Lady Kiyomi's hand and let's her lead him along. He sucked on his thumb, but he did make sure to show respect to priests that walked by. He gave bows and stayed out of their way, but they still would just glance at him and look to Kiyomi as if to silently ask "Why is he still here?". Miyako didn't seem to notice. Either that, or he just didn't let it openly get to him.

She sighed. In a way, he being here had been quite... bothersome, and not many people approved of him - especially a child that needed diapers just to not soil themselves. But, she had convinced a lot of them that the mark of Amaterasu was real, but even then, the boy wasn't liked too much. She quickly made their way back to the room that Miyako had been staying at.
Debating whether to do it, she thought she might ask him first. "Miyako? I'm sorry but..."

"...Is it okay if theres no milkies for a while?"
