Yea, that was a great video. Unfortunately it seems that it has ceased to exist on the internet for one reason or another. I'm sure I've got it saved somewhere in my computer, but not sure where it exists......sorry!
And I think I agree w/ Vickie, this isn't the place to post such a work, I don't think it would help the perception of the site at all, even though there is nothing really "wrong" with it, legally.

Posting it would be illegal, as it is a copyrighted work.

Actually what was put on google is not at all copyrighted as it was a preview and from what I understand previews are meant to be spread out according to fair use so long as no commercial intrest is gained.
And since IMDB has no entry on its likely and neither would the copyright database either. If its not registered its not copyrighted - PERIOD and not sharing it is a personal choice.
It likely disappeared from the internet for one of two reasons:
- a distributor picked it up (finally) and its not on the internet thanks to an NDA (non disclosure agreement) though with 2 years since I last heard about it it the AB community would have been abuzz about it being picked up even if it was a small rumor. Currently its fallen silent so something else is going on.
- the project was abandoned and the producer wanted nothing more to do with it and pretended to erase it from existence. Its likely google either pulled it for this or was removed for content and liability issues (the whole child abuse thing). If the producer publically abandoned the film than that counts as removing his rights to the film and as such all copyright would be null in void and there would be no penalty for sharing it. There may also be issues with actor release info and other liabilities associated with the film outside of copyright that would make the film disappear.
The chances are though with so many other video sites around and how quickly media spreads it was likely removed for legality reasons beyond copyright. Media never disappears from the internet once put on regardless of copyright so there are other things going on. Using copyright is just a cover up IMHO.
But seriously it was nothing but A DAMN PREVIEW that 9 minutes was all that ever existed of a yet to be film and it would never go beyond that thus it doesnt exist. I dont know what the buzz is about such a tiny piece of ABANDONED media but oh well. Too bad orphaned works legislation never passed because it would apply to this.
I didnt like it personally because it was too short and only a preview. It would have been far better to consume the final project as the producer had planned. I tend not to have much hope for indi films as 9 times out of 10 they disappear and never come to fruition so I don't really pay attention to previews until their fully released films or their finished and in the process of finding a distributor.

I actually spoke to the producer. Also, I never saw it on Google, I got it off VEOH.

And if thats the case op but sorry your out of luck. You have your answer. Your not going to see it because the producer doesn't want anyone to see it.
Its just another typical dumb (insert insult here) in the independent film industry thats better off being ignored because they cant manage their fan base right and shoot themselves in the foot by being overly protective.
Id actually like to see the final product too but its never likely to happen so I'm in the same boat actually and frankly and other just accepting its going to the bit bucket of failed films digging it up seems to cause drama. So op Id recommend you just give up now and deal with it. You would be surprised at how many good projects wind up like this and how many independent firms there are that you will never see because of the circumstances.
And yeah producer put it up on Veoh as I remember so whatever else happened was out of what I understood such as you seeing it on youtube.

Well, actually the film was finished, it's approx. 20-something minutes long and I've seen it. It's pretty fun, although not the absolute strongest film in the world.
Like Vickie, I saw it on Veoh, although I'm not entirely clear about the particulars of the legality of posting such media as of now, but if I can 1st of all find the damn thing, then make sure I can legally share it, either under a certain law or with the producers permission, then I shall post it somewhere.
Until then, sorry guys, it would seem you are out of luck atm....

This is the first I've heard of this film. It sounds slightly interesting.
Films don't normally catch my interest.
