"I think they could pass for younger..Although that would be pushing it..I'm just glad they're healthy for the most part..Being twins on top of being premature generally doesn't..Come out too well." Sarah sighed as she glanced up the stairs. "Luke's definitely the leader of the two..I could of told you that when he stepped between be and Connor..Or when he wiped his brother's mouth for him.." She giggled at picturing the little boy's protective antics.

"Yeah..I guess she was right.." Luke mumbled as he looked around a tad nervously as he fidgeted some more. "Do..Ya' think..That..We should um..Go get em'..N'..let em' you know.." Luke said after some time, referring to the state of their padding, and dress at the same time.

Nick giggled as well at that. "I know....exactly the same age, but he takes such good care of his brother" he says with a laugh. "Guess he doesn't need us then," he said with a big grin, knowing that Luke - as brave as he was - needed a bit more help than he had been letting on.

Connor slowly nodded his head. "I g-g-guess so....N'...N' Luke? Um...c'n you go first...?" he asked, a little nervous to be changed by the babysitters. After all, nobody had ever done that for the boys besides their Mommy, and sometimes their Daddy. And once their grandmother. But never strangers. Connor thought you weren't even supposed to let strangers see those parts of you. that's what the grownups always said. But he guessed the rules were different sometimes....still, it felt weird and embarassing to imagine them changing diapers like Mommy did. When Mommy did it, Connor never felt like a baby...but when the babysitters did it he had a feeling it would be a lot different. But still....there was no other choice....

"It really is adorable..He really cares a lot for his brother..I'd be willing to bet he's a minute or so older.." She giggled. "It makes me wonder just how Connor got that backwards pull-up..Didn't their parents say they both wore diapers to bed?" Sarah pointed out. "He's certainly brave when it comes to his brother..I would have never done something like that when I was his age.." She giggled.

Luke nodded as he fidgeted uncomfortably, and hugged his brother once more, "Ya..I ken' go first if ya want..Mommy said they sorta knew about us..So I don' think..They mind..She wouldnit' have someone who dinit' like us cause of that.." He said, to reassure himself as much as Connor. "I guess...We should go..It is kina' uncomfy bein' wet this long.." Luke mumbled as he hugged his twin once more, and took his hand to lead the way back down stairs as he tried to sort out just what he'd say..

Nick nodded his head. "Yeah, it's really sweet to see. They obviously love each other so much...makes me wish I had a twin, you know?" he said. "I mean...a twin shares so much of even your DNA....that's pretty insane. Though I dunno how I would handle having somebody who looked just like me..." he said. "Still, I guess you can't beat that for bonding," he said.

He hadn't thought about the backwards pull-up though...now that she mentioned it it was pretty weird...they DID wear diapers to bed, didn't they? "Yea....you don't think..." he started to laugh a little "You don't think they tried to take it into their own hands, do you?" he wondered. "Luke was still wearing his diaper though.....so...." he thought about it...then laughed again, "You don't think...?" he said, wondering if it was possible that Luke had changed his brother's diaper....after all, he did seem protective of his shyer twin...but that thought was just too cute to be true.

Upstairs, Connor continued to nod. Everything Luke was saying made sense. It just had to be. "Yea....an' Mommy don' probly even KNOW mean people..." Connor added optimistically, remembering that their Mother had known of them before, though Connor didn't remember how. "So it's not all-th'-way strangers...." Connor said, hugging his brother back, and then taking his hand and going downstairs, a bit more confidently this time than before....of course he couldn't resist bringing down Brownie for extra support, Brownie clutched to his side in his right hand, and Luke's hand in his left hand.

Sarah nodded, "It sounds odd..But that's always the way it's been for them, always having that person that looks just like them." She pointed out, "That's probably just natural..Or maybe a bit of a phenomenon with some twins.." She added after a moment as Nick caught on to Connors little situation. "Well..I don't think their parents would have put a pull-up on their son backwards..Poor little Luke was probably just scared for his brother..And yeah..I do think.." She giggled as the door upstairs opened.

Luke smiled at Connor, the twins seemed to have that effect on one another in making each other feel better when it was needed, sometimes with just a touch, like confidence and security being transmitted from one to the other. "Ya..Yer' right." He smiled while leading him out of the room and towards the stairs, trying to keep his worry aside for Connor's sake.

Nick whispered now, not wanting the boys to hear. "Well, here the little guys come...guess their little pow-wow upstairs went in our favor?"

As Connor and Luke re-appeared, Nick realized that he had to remind himself on who was who. Luke was diaper-boy...and Connor was pull-up-boy. And now Connor was holding his puppy, so it seemed that Connor was also puppy-boy. So it seemed that it had been Luke that had been bunny-boy up in the bedroom earlier in the morning. "Hey guys!" Nick said friendlily..."Need our help?" he suggested, in case they had trouble asking.

Connor hugged Brownie a little closer when he saw the babysitters again, but he felt a little braver than before, and though he still had doubts that resurfaced when he saw them, he was PRETTY sure they were nice. Plus with Brownie hugged close, and Luke's hand in his, it bolstered his bravery and confidence. It provided him with a sense of security. Connor nodded his head in response to the question from Nick, but looked to Luke to speak once more....Nick wondered how long it'd take until Connor spoke to them more openly. But it wasn't that Connor had no input...it seemed to Nick that the two were in sync, with Luke just vocalizing the answers. He wondered what private conversations could go on in glances between the two who knew each other so well that would be unrecognizable to the outside viewer. He wished he knew what it was like inside their heads.

Sarah nodded as she knelt down to the twin's level once more, and waved at them as well. "Oh, well that's what we're here for, anything at all." She assured them once..

Luke looked at Connor, and then at the babysitters again as he fidgeted uncomfortably in his wet Pamper..."Uh-Um..If ya' promise ya' won't be mad..Er' laugh.." he began.."Of course not silly, what is it?" Sarah told them again..

"W-Well..I..Um..We.." Luke mumbled choking on the words that he often uttered to his mother so easily when he was asked most mornings.."I kina-.." He said looking at Connor once more for comfort.."I mean..I sorta..W-Well..P-Peed last night..N'.." Luke finally said as he averted his eyes..This wasn't going as planned for him.."N'..N'..Ist'..Really uncomfy now..N'..I don' know howta' change it..By myself.." He finished, "I-I'm sorry.." Luke stuttered quickly after as he shifted uneasily.

Nick nodded his head understandingly, internally 'aawwwwwwwwww'ing at how adorably embarrassed Luke was. Nick just wanted to go over there and give him a big hug, but thought maybe it was a bit too early for that. The poor kid though...Nick did his best to cheer him up and ease his mind "No problem, bud! We can definitely help with that, you don't have to be embarrassed. It happens to all little boys," he says with a smile, hoping that he wasn't embarrassing Luke more. "What about you Connor, you wanna change too?"

Connor, who had squeezed Luke's hand to offer him support during his brave confession, found himself having a lot more trouble admitting his own state, even when directly asked. Faced by Nick's eyes Connor sorta stammered "I...I...w-w-well....I didn' go lots....jus'....jus' a little...." he said, obviously hoping he could avoid the change altogether. It was sorta true. He didn't go THAT much...but the little bit he had done in bed plus the extra he had done while scared downstairs wasn't exactly nothing either. He hung his head. He had trouble admitting it but he was willing to face whatever Luke was going to face, and if that meant being changed by the babysitters that's what he'd do

Sarah nodded along with what Nick said, who seemed to be handling Luke well enough as she turned to look at Connor..She wasn't entirely sure which of them would be more of a challenge, but decided to see if she could do well with him. "Well, that's fine sweetie..We just want to make sure you're nice and comfy, that's all." Sarah told him as she came a little closer. "And happy too, I promise." She smiled genuinely while extending her pinky towards him, and giving the shy little boy a gentle pat on the head. "So, why don't you let me have a look at that, and then we'll get you cleaned up huh?" Sarah suggested.

Luke still blushed as he avoided eye contact..He still couldn't help feeling embarrassed in his current situation..Standing in front of the new people, admitting to the fact that he had wet the bed..And quite visibly so by the slightly sagging diaper he wore, a toddler diaper at
that..He of course didn't see any part about it that could be called 'cute' It was really almost shameful for him..That he was seven, even if he didn't look like it..He still was, and in this situation. "K-Kay'.." He mumbled while fidgeting with his legs uncomfortably, both from the feeling between his legs, and his embarrassment at the same time.

Luke stopped suddenly however when he saw Sarah start to move towards Connor however, and took a step to stand between them before halting as he studied her a bit before giving a nod of approval to his twin brother, and giving his hand a reassuring squeeze.

Nick watched the two boys with fascination, still amazed at their dynamic. He knew that Luke probably wouldn't see the 'cuteness' in his situation, but just watching the little boy in the soaked toddler diaper standing between the babysitter and his brother, ready to defend him...and then giving the 'ok' as if giving permission both for Sarah to come to Connor, and for Connor to accept Sarah...it was really amazing. It was clear that this was a usual dynamic, it seemed like Connor even looked to Luke to figure out how to respond. Like Luke was the only one in charge of who was allowed to interact with Connor and who wasn't. He really seemed to keep him protected...

Connor felt the squeeze from Luke, and saw the approving nod, and knew that Luke had given the 'ok'. It's only then when Connor allows himself to fully lock eyes with Sarah. Luke had said it was okay so....it must be. As embarassed as Connor was, feeling even more naked with the pull-up on then he would without it...he found himself putting his pinky forward to wrap into Sarah's. She had just pinky swore that she was on their side...and that was a sacred bond that could never be broken. Grownups couldn't even break that...could they? He looked at her solemnly, sizing her up once more.

"Okay...." he finally conceded softly. If Luke said it was okay, then he would let her change his pull-up. He still wished it could be over with quickly, and that he could get pants on...then maybe he'd start to feel like a normal boy and not like such a baby....his discomfort showed on his face. But somehow, when Sarah talked...well...he didn't feel like such a baby.
