"Good, now there's nothing to be afraid of you two, we don't think it's a big deal you two had a little accident. If we did, we wouldn't be here right now to help you get cleaned up right?" She pointed out while lifting Connor's shirt a bit to see how wet his pull-up was. "And if it makes you feel better, the same thing happened to me when I was your age, and I bet it does to a lot of the other little boys and girls your two know." Sarah offered by way of comparison before gently offering a Connor a hand to hold if he wished, "But for now, why don't we get the two of you into something a bit more comfy huh?" She suggested, gesturing to the stairs.


As much as Luke tried he couldn't find any fault in either of the babysitters..All the signs and things they said seemed genuine...The look of thought and study was clear on his face as he shifted his eyes between the two adults for a long minute before coming to a halt on Nick. "Is she tellin' the truth?" He said plainly to the older male as he glanced at Sarah once more, and then to Connor to read his thoughts, more clearly than any one else on the situation before exchanging looks and nods with him in their synchronized twin dynamic that seemed to come so naturally to them both. "Cause..If she is..Then I guess..We're sorry..Fer' earlier..N'..That..I'll let her...Change Connor.." Luke said as he gave Nick one more critical look.

Nick smiled at the little boy's tentative approval. He would 'let her change Connor' he had said. He sure took care of his brother...."Of course she's telling the truth..." Nick said with a smile. "I even wet the bed sometimes when I was your age. All little boys and girls have accidents sometimes....its just that they keep it secret, so nobody knows. And you know what? I bet some of your friends have them too, and you never even knew" Nick said, in a soft voice as if letting the kids in on a big secret.

Connor eyed Sarah with apprehension as she lifted his shirt up, and checked his damp pull-up, but he took her hand gently. Connor's hand was so much smaller and smoother than Sarah's, his touch gentle and maybe a little nervous, but Sarah's hand felt gentle to Connor as well. Connor, being such a shy and nervous boy, took a lot of comfort from hand-holding. It was how Luke always protected him as well. So as Sarah held his hand he couldn't help but have his feelings warm a bit towards her. He looked towards Luke as they had a conversation with just their eyes, and as Connor nodded his tentative acceptance, Luke nodded as well giving his permission.

Connor echoed his brother's words. "Yeah...we're sorryyy....." he said, his voice lilting and drawing out the end of the word. It was a sincere apology. Connor did feel bad that he and Luke had been difficult. If their Mommy had been there, she wouldn't have been too happy with how they hid. But still Connor kept a little distance. He was letting the babysitters in, but not done watching them yet. In fact, the little boy's eye never left the grownups anymore, as if looking for one bad move. But Nick could tell that as soon as Luke gave permission for the adults to interact with Connor, Connor had accepted them in as well. Nick couldn't help but be relieved.

Nick had to smile at luke's words. 'I'll let her change Connor.' The idea of the little seven year old boy in the wet diaper having to give permission for them to interact with his brother was so cute, but Nick had a feeling that if they had tried to force their way to Connor without Luke's permission things may have turned ugly. He smiled wondering what would have happened, but was happy they wouldn't have to find out. Nick smiled at Luke "And thanks Luke...you sure do take good care of your brother." he said, giving Luke a thumbs up.

"Aw, it's okay guy's you're just a bit shy is all. But all that's going to happen is we're just going to follow you Mommy's rules and instructions on things while we're taking care of you two alright?" Sarah giggled as she gently held the little boy's hand in her on, giving it a friendly and playful shake before releasing it as Luke eyed her suspiciously while waiting for Nick's response.

Luke kept his critical look on the two of them for a moment as he absorbed what Nick had said, and then relaxed to more docile and open expression as he nodded and exchanged glances with his twin once more, reading each other as easily as a more skilled and older person may read a book. He of course blushed at the compliment of his protective and assertive ways were pointed out.."Y-Yeah..It's..My job..He's my little brother.." Luke said while turning slightly to give Connor a hug, and checking the boy's pull-up for himself once more to be sure it was needed.. "Jus'..Be careful, and don't scare em' anymore." Luke cautioned and requested of the babysitters as he glanced at Connor once more, and started to lead the way up the stairs.

Nick actually turned his head away for a second to keep from reacting as he actually sees the one diapered little boy check his 'little' brother's pull-up. He gave a little glance at Sarah, knowing she must be thinking the same thing he was. The boy was so serious about his role as Connor's big brother. Nick had never seen anything like it. And to think they were twins - at the most they were only a couple minutes apart. But Luke took his role deathly serious, and it was obvious he did a good job and that the other boy needed it as well. So Nick would take it seriously too. "Don't worry, buddy" Nick said re-assuringly. "We'll be gentle" he said, with a little smile, letting Luke know his 'little' brother was safe with them, and that they would do their best not to scare him. "Your little brother's safe with us....we promise" Nick said with a smile..."And if you see anything you don't like you can just tell us, don't be afraid." Nick said, letting the boy know that he could say whatever he wanted to them, and didn't have to worry about what they'd say or do

Connor hugged his brother back, and stood there to let his pull-up be checked. "I'm...I'm alrigh' Luke...." he said, sounding only half sure of himself. He paused for a second, thinking about it and then said "They're nice I think....." though his eyes flashed a little 'I hope' that went unsaid after that. "I'm gonna be brave..." the little boy said with adorable sincerity...as if he was going to war or something, Nick thought to himself. And it got especially adorable as Connor positioned himself so that while he was holding Sarah's hand, he was never too far removed from Luke....always wanting his 'big' brother nearby at least for the time being.

Sarah had to glance away as well..She wasn't sure what to compare the two of them to..They were certainly different in personality she saw now..But still somewhat alike in that area as well, yet their physical appearance was more or less identical. With perhaps just a slight difference in posture or general stance that reflected their personalities...But either way, the boy's were certainly adorable, in just about everything they did..She had to wonder what it would be like if they actually gave conscious efforts to be cute.."See, he needs a change sweetie, so why don't you take us back to your room so we can get that done for him, and he can be comfy again?" Sarah offered as she smiled at Connor's words..

Luke simply nodded along with what Connor said, "Thas' good..I think you'll be okay.." he said confidently with another little nod and a glance that said a few other things he'd want to know. As to tell him how his change went once it was over with. "I was gonna do that anyway." He pointed out with the first edge of a smile from him all morning. Showing he was grateful for Nick's consideration, and words of encouragement. But still making it clear that ice he stood on wasn't completely solid just yet. And that he wasn't going to tolerate abuse of his brother. And after a nod to Sarah he took her advice and began to lead Connor back to their room, gesturing for the babysitters to follow.


Sarah couldn't help but smile at the boy antics, serious in nature as they were, and as seriously as they were going to take them. Luke and Connor weren't going to lose the 'cute-factor' of anything they did anytime soon. And with a glance at Nick she stood up, "Quite the pair...Do you still want 'Bunny-Boy'..Or rather Luke.." She snickered quietly to him.

Nick smiled, "Yup, I'll take bunny-boy and you take puppy-boy..." he laughed a little "Anyways, I think you're probably a little gentler. It's best that you take Connor or Luke will probably have us out of here in a second," he said good-naturedly, watching the two boys - Connor holding Luke's hand as he led him up.

A little bit ahead of the babysitters, Connor held Luke's hand, walking up the stairs behind him. "Luke...?" he asked quietly. "It's not so bad if I um...suck my thumb while they do it right....?" he said with a blush. The boy really had been trying to kick such a habit remnant of his toddler days, but it did calm him down....with nobody there that he could trust but his brother, he turned to him...looking for validation or reassurance that it was okay to indulge in this habit just for a little while.

Connor didn't know how Luke was being so brave. Connor was happy Luke had done the talking though. He tried to, but when he looked at the babysitters he just felt his whole body freeze up. But then Luke ended up saying just what he was thinking anyways. It was good having a twin. He didn't need to say anything though. As they walked into their bedroom, Connor flashed Luke a look that just said 'thank you.' There was no doubting that Connor was grateful of the security that Luke brought, just by being near him.

Sarah giggled slightly as she nodded, "I think he's the first kid I've seen be so serious about anything..Especially something like his twin brother...He even made sure that Connor actually needed a change.." She pointed out as they headed up the stairs.

Luke thought a moment as he nodded.."Yeah..I don' think they really care..They prolly' think ist' 'cute' or something dumb like that." Luke muttered the C-word as if it contained some sort of toxin. He'd heard it often enough..So much so that it didn't bother him much anymore to be called such, but he still hated when ever he had to say it himself. But moving on to more pressing issues, Luke nodded at Connor as he led them over to stand by the changing table, "Do..You still want me to go first?" He asked curiously while looking over at the doorway as he heard the babysitters foot steps drawing ever closer.

Connor thought about it. Maybe he should be brave and go first. "Wellll...." Connor said. But then the footsteps came, and a change came over Connor's face instantly. Even if he was warming up to them, he was obviously still scared. He nodded...."Mhm....." he mumbled. "Pleeease?" he said softly, obviously feeling a little bad that his brother would have to brave it out first, but also obviously feeling too scared to take it on himself. Whenever the babysitters were around, Connor's very face and body language seemed to change. He seemed to close into his shell a little more, and become meeker and softer. And his mouth was usually pursed shut. The boy still had a bit of time to get used to them before he warmed up and really let himself out.

Nick laughed outside as the two walked up the stairs, quietly though because they were getting within earshot of the boys soon..."I know...he actually checked his pull-up...twin brothers, probably not even five minutes apart, but he takes care of him like he's years older. That was so cute..." he said, but stopped talking as they came into the room....he had a feeling the little guys wouldn't like hearing that word. Kids rarely did. "So guys..." Nick said as he entered. "Who's up first?" he said casually, like it was no big deal and like this kind of thing happened every day. For the boys, at least, it did...Nick knew it would be bad to let on in any way how unusual an experience it might be for himself.

Luke simply nodded, "Ist' alright, I don' mind." Luke smiled, willing to do so easily in the presence of his only his twin brother as he gave him another reassuring hug. "I think it'll be fine, don' worry.." He said simply, cutting off his bit of expression as Nick and Sarah entered the room. He looked up at Nick and blushed as he raised his hand slightly, still fidgeting in his wet Pamper.."Um..I am.." He said softly while leaning against the changing table their Mother still insisted on keeping in their room to take care of morning and night changes..As well as the occasional accident that befell the boys.

Sarah simply nodded along as they approached the room, smiling at the nervous way Luke volunteered. "Alright, that sounds fine. You guy's wear underwear during the day, right?" She asked just to be sure with them, keeping in her mind what their parents said about training pants being worn if need be.

Connor froze for a second at the question. He felt a little embarassed that she even had to ask. After all, most seven year old boys sure didn't need to be ASKED if they were potty trained...and wasn't that kind of what she was asking? Connor's embarrassment at the question shows on his face but he nods his head. "Mhm...." he says.

What made it worse though, was that it wasn't exactly an unwarranted question. After all, there had been some days that the boys had spent in training pants. Still, that wasn't something Connor would ever admit. He found himself drawing back a bit to lean against the wall, moving himself out of the way of the babysitters. In the process he accidentally kicked the diaper pail a bit away from the wall, the smushed up wet diaper from before, being a bit more out in the open - the one that Luke had changed Connor out of.

Nick however, was on his way towards Luke. "Hold on buddy, just gonna have to lift you up...just for a second, okay?" he said with a smile, slowly approaching Luke - fast enough to not make Luke think too hard and decide to try to back away, but slow enough to not scare the boy - Nick bent down and put an arm on Luke's shoulder gently to calm him down, and then lifted the little boy up, grabbing him around the waist, since it was just a short lift up onto the table. The boy was practically light as a feather and it was an easy task for Nick to get him onto the changing table.

"Okay, little dude, lie back," Nick said, going to get the diapering supplies from the cabinet. He felt a little nervous. It was just kind of weird, changing a seven-year-old's diaper. But by the time Nick came back to Luke any nervousness was gone from his face. Connor took a few steps forward this time, now his turn to be nearby in case his brother needed him. Nick rolled up Luke's shirt a bit, just to get it out of the way, and then untaped the sides of the diaper. Soon Nick was bringing the front down, leaving the boy's lower half naked on the table, the smell of urine filling the air. Nick thought he would feel weirder than he did...the boy looked so much like a toddler, that it was hard to remember he was actually way past potty-training age.

"Okay, let's just get you cleaned up then, okay?" Nick said with a reassuring smile. He was a little worried he'd embarass the boy if he said much else, as he took the wipes, and began to gently wipe off the boy's diaper area.
