Dreamchasers: Out of this World

Nefarious was dressed in her usual uniform: An oversized black labcoat that billowed out behind her. Except it wasn't billowing anymore, it was heavy and dragged behind her. As she approached Hopper, the coat bunched up, she stepped on it several times, and eventually she gave a frustrated grunt and discarded it. After all, it wasn't like she needed it, and like a minion that had outlived its usefulness, if she had no need for it and it got in her way, she could get rid of it.

So once she was standing over Hopper, she was completely naked. She didn't wear a bra, and didn't know what a bra even was, so her now generous rack was hanging free, although she hadn't noticed it yet. "What did I do? It was your friends who interfered with my machine. What did they do? They ruined everything!"

Inky had landed in a tree, branches and sharp leaves pushing into his sides but breaking his fall. He was currently trying to get his wits about him. Since when did landing in trees hurt like this? Trees were supposed to be soft things that broke your fall, not... whatever this was turning out to be.

Well, Hopper wasn't exactly expecting for her to see a naked bat walking over to her. Unlike Nefarious, her little spandex, short sleeved and pant legged suit actually wasn't getting in her way currently. She blinked a few times before saying, "Hey, don't blame us for this! You're the one who had no idea what you were even getting into with that portal! We were trying to stop you from doing something stupid!" She said, getting up to her feet and... Getting completely distracted by Nefarious' new pair of breast.

"And can you please put some cloths on?" She immediately asked. Usually, she'd just sock the bat across the face and call it good, but she was so confused about this that she didn't make any moves.

"Inky?" Sprocket said, sounding a little confused. "What are you doing up there? Inky!" He immediately repeated louder to try to catch his attention.

"I knew exactly what I was getting into, and I will not cover up!" said Nefarious. "You've got a lot of nerve, challenging my intelligence, trying to supress my beauty!" She knew that clothes weren't viewed as a requirement, since they had nothing that demanded modesty, but some animals were more prudish about it than others. She crossed her arms across her chest, frowning as they pressed into her new breasts. "What in the world..." She grabbed a breast in each hand, moving them around. "What did you do to me?" she screeched at Hopper. "You've turned me into a mutant!"

She had been secretly hoping that Hopper was the only one who had transformed.

Inky clutched his temples. "I can hear you just fine!" he shouted back. "Just give me a second to get down." He repositioned himself in the tree, noticing as he did how his limbs seemed more gangly than before. His old body was flexible, curved, like he was made of rubber. Now he had joints, and it made it a lot harder to move.

He pushed off from the tree and tumbled to the ground, at least managing to land on his legs. But he hit hard and heard a crack, and pain shot up his right leg. He keeled over, cradling his leg, try to understand what had gone wrong. He'd leapt from buildings taller than that without a scratch. Why would a short fall like that cause him such pain?

Well, much like Nefarious over there, Hopper also had a pair, although she didn't seem to fond of it. Actually, she wasn't fond of any of this because everything just felt out of place. She was so much more used to being smaller and not having a pair of milk sacs on her chest. Unlike Nefarious, she did not touch them just in case they were... Volatile.

"I didn't do anything to you!" She said as she got back up to her feet. "It was YOUR portal that you chose to make! Did you even have a clue as to where it would even take you!?" She snapped back at her as she got a little close to her.

Better not get punched...

Sprocket watched him fall to the ground. At first, he thought the landing would be perfectly well done, but then he was holding his leg as if someone jabbed it with a taser. "I don't think we can pull any stunts like that here if stuff like that is going to happen." He said before asking, "Um... Need some help?" He wasn't too sure if he could help considering that he didn't feel like any sort of strong.

Inky was much too proud to admit he'd botched what should have been the easiest drop in the world. "I'm fine," he insisted, and he tried to stand up. But as soon as he put weight on his leg, it buckled and he cried out in pain. "I think there's something wrong with my leg," he admitted to Sprocket. "It's like it's..." he tried to think of the right word, "...broken or something."

His skintight silver jumpsuit was torn in several places from the fall, and it had branches and twigs stuck in it, scratching at him. He looked up to get a good look at Sprocket, and took in how his teammate had changed too.

"I know where it was supposed to take us before your friends messed with it, but that's not here," said Nefarious, taking in their surroundings. Nefarious wasn't going to pick a fight with Hopper, because she knew she'd lose and it would solve nothing. But she also knew she had to assert her authority. "We need to find civilization, and as much as I hate you right now, we're in this together. Want to pick a direction and start walking?"

"I think it being broken would be a little more obvious." Sprocket stated, having seen his own fair share of injuries both on himself and other people. "Look, we shouldn't be trying anything like that in a place, or dimension, that we know nothing about. If you simply jumping down from a tree hurt you when it normally wouldn't, imagine what would happen to me if I tried to play around with live wires." In their dimension, Sprocket was the tech guy, so messing around with high powered machinery was his forte. However, he was not willing to try it out right now after seeing Inky seemingly injure himself doing something he always did...

Once more, Sprocket's appearance consisted of the normal patterns of a Secretary bird, but he seemed taller, more upright and now had arms and hands to work with. Originally, he had wings that acted as arms and, well, wings, but now it looked like he had arms with large feathers attached to them, most likely what remained of his wings in this world. His tail feathers went all the way down to the back of his knees. His legs were thin, much like most birds, and had bird like feet too, texture, claws, all of that good stuff. His goggles had been put up on his fore head now, just above his eyes and he wore a skin tight black jumpsuit. His gauntlet appeared to be missing....

But Hopper wasn't exactly going to be all that rational. She was always the aggressive one in any kind of situation similar to this. "What? No, you're not just going to walk away from this, thinking we're buddies here. Fix this!" She yelled at her as she stomped after her... And tripped pretty darn quickly afterwards. Apparently she wasn't used to the digitrade legs here...

Nefarious laughed out loud and put her hands on her knees for support. "You keep saying I don't know what I'm doing, but I don't think you know what you're doing either! So trust in my cold hard intellect. We need to get out of here, find a town or someplace to get supplies. We at least need food. I don't know about you, but I'm starving." Her stomach grumbled, as if speaking out in agreement.

Inky took a deep breath to steady himself. "Fine. We won't do anything risky until we figure out where we are. Which is easier said than done." He had no idea where they were. Based on what the machine was supposed to do, they were probably in another dimension. "What do we do now?" he asked, hoping that Sprocket would have some idea. Inky was the muscle of the team, not the brains.

Hopper struggled back up to her feet, face being a tad bit red in embarrassment. "Fine. Fine!" She said in a less than agreeable mood. "We need to find the others first because if we suddenly get in any sort of trouble, we're probably going to need all the help we can get." She said before looking around for any sign of Inky and Sprocket.

"Well... I haven't seen Nefarious or Hopper yet so we should go find those two instead of just leaving them alone. We are a team after all." He said. "After we find them, we should probably look into exploring a bit because I really doubt staying in the same place for long is a good idea." He stated.

(When will they be getting put diapers again?)

(They know nothing about diapers, urination, or defecation. These things don't exist in their G-rated cartoon world. Right now they need supplies, particularly food and shelter. If they have to go , they won't know what it means or what to do with it. Diapers will have to be something they either discover or invent. I imagine they could find shelter in an abandoned barn containing artifacts of the people who once lived there.)

Inky wanted to argue, just because he was irritated, but Sprocket was right. "How are we going to find them? Who knows where they could be?" he asked. He looked up at the tree, trying to gauge of he could climb it again. But then he realized maybe he didn't have to. "Can you still fly?" he asked Sprocket. "Your wings look different, but do they still work?"

Nefarious went back over to her coat and slung it over her shoulder. She didn't want it to trip her up, but the fabric could prove useful. She looked around and spotted a hilltop in the distance. "Let's split up and meet there," she said. "That way we can cover more ground without getting lost."

(I imagine she'll end up making a diaper out of the coat.)

Sprocket examined his own wings top to bottom before he shook his head. "As much fun as it would be to try to test that out, I don't exactly want to take to the skies only to get some sort of nasty surprise. Like gravity being higher here and making me regret simply jumping." He said as he put his wing like arms back down. "We should probably just stick to the ground. Yes, I am being paranoid, but I don't exactly want to keep making the risk of, you know, getting hurt.

Hopper, on the other hand, had another idea. "No, I don't trust you enough to just split up." She said, apparently still having a grudge with her currently. "I don't trust that you're not just going to bail the second you get a chance and leave us out here to fend for ourselves." Then she started following after Nefarious, or stumbling rather before she got a bit of a better hang on walking. "So I'm going with you. Besides, wouldn't you want some protection in case you wind up getting attacked by something out here? You're not exactly a capable fighter form what I've seen numerous times."

Or basically from the times Hopper managed to kick her ass. Literally and figuratively.
