Dune roleplay, perhaps?

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested about a roleplay centered around the universe of 'Dune.' It seems like an almost perfect excuse even with Canon for diapers, assuming we crank it back a couple hundred years: Back when Stillsuits were first being developed, to be precise. A lack of anything to go on means we have to use conventional technology to retain a bodies' water. Hint. Hint.

Hey, I love the Dune books and would be interested in a pre-Muad'dib era Arrakis. With the Fremen worship of water I'm sure diapers could work in well. I'm mostly a fxf style rper but I was thinking we could play two wives or something like that since they practiced polygamy. Or maybe a soldier taken captive? Let me know what you think.

FxF works just fine for me, I always play female characters. (Stick to what you know, you know?)
I was thinking a stillsuit shortages would required other means of containing previous fluids, AKA diapers. That'd be at least one excuse, at any rate.
I'd be interested where you are going with the captive soldiers idea? Normally culture dictates processing of captives for water, and under no circumstances will they live long enough to integration into culture fully. Unless it was before the fremen were all united, perhaps there's a tribal war going on? (Aka a made up excuses.)

Of course stillsuit malfunction is the best and most likely explanation. I was imagining like a Fremen captured by the Harkonnen's but I like your idea of a tribal war. Plus that way we can show Liet Kynes' unification of the tribes.

In that case, we just need characters and names for the tribes. It'll be assumed we are both footsoldiers? Perhaps part of the underdog group to explain the gear shortages.
