Dungeons and Diapers: Apocalypse

Hannah swore as Melissa attacked the goblin before she was ready. At least, only because she didn't kill the creature, or at least pull it down for the rest of them to get at. She hefted her shield and held it up to put it between her and the magic of the wounded creature above them. There wasn't much she could do from down here, other than try and shield the other two. She decided to try and cover Luke somewhat while he had his back turned, "Uhh, you got a plan before the rest of them come, right?"

(Well Rye that's what happens when you give yourself a low constitution score. Also, since we sorta broke the turn order, I say Livingbylies goes next, then Random, then Rye, so we can try to get back on track)

The goblin made no sounds as it scurried around in the small room above, clearly preparing something. It was quiet, too quiet something was up. Unfortunitly, the hole that entered the room was too small for anyone, except for Luke to possibly fit into, though the two armor wearers, may fit if they tried hard enough, and didn't have bulky armor on.

Staggering from the unexpected blow, Melissa took several moments to gather herself before turning to their diminutive ally, Luke. "You scout ahead, make sure there's nobody at the top of that ladder, we'll follow after," She advised, not wanting to take off all her armor and squeeze through the trapdoor only to get her head immediately removed from her torso the moment she was halfway through.

Above them, they could hear the goblin mumbling to himself as he fumbled around, clearly looking for something. He then let out a loud laugh, and the sound of something being stirred really quickly could be heard. Clearly, he was preparing something to drop down on them.

Hannah fuddled around, still holding her shield up to protect herself from what she was sure would be an attack from above. "Are we sure that's the only way out? No sort of silly trips or something we can do to get a secret entrance? Like in the old castles and such....?" She grumbled to herself, hoping the other one would be able to slip through quickly enough, or at least come up with a plan more coordinated than their previous ones.

A loud cheer could be heard coming from the open door leading to the main dungeon. Clearly the large army of goblins that were on the bottom floor, bowing to the dragon, were celebrating something.

Finally making his action, the goblin let out a large shout, and tossed a vial of chemicals down from the top floor, releasing a cloud of poisonous gas. It was only mildly irritating however, clearly the goblin failed to add some key ingredient. Though, it was now difficult to see in the room, through the cloud of green gas.

(Mellisa is at 4 health. Luke is at 4, and Hannah is at 9. The goblin has taken some damage.)

Luke coughed "We better get out of here before their mass thing ends. That thing can't get down or call out so we could just slip away" he recommended , searching around the fog for the door out before he died from this.

Luke was easily able to find the door. The room was rather small, and he had seen it before the gas cloud had come. It was still unlocked.

"Is the path clear?" Melissa asked, keeping her guard up and watching the trap door. Taking several steps back just in case another chemical attack came through, she eyes Luke and then the others with a little suspicion. "If there's enemies, I'll break through them first, you watch my back. Clear?"

The chanting seemed to get louder. Clearly whatever the dragon was saying to them, was working them up something fierce.
