i want to join. my char is named Shiva Kihano a half elf Bow/Mage that was exiled because the none elf part was a bird of some kind (know one knows what kind) and that resulted in her having wings that she can use to fly for a short time (like 60 seconds max) after being exiled she trained her self mostly alone in the woods until age 8 as an archer at which point a mage named DoomRazzer Kihano hound her and trained her in the ways of magic tell about age 13 when he mysteriously vanished making shiva set off on a quest to find out what happened

ok how about instead of the mysteriously vanished part doomrazer was a woodelf and before the raids he was called to a town to help with some problem with a close friend. he left a note saying that he was coming back in a few days but after about a month she set off to the town only to find it in ruins from the raid and he set off to hunt the leader as a revenge (because she apparently likes killing so much)
