"Really good," Zuko said, patting his diaper between his legs, surprised at how much he was liking it, actually, and wondering if Mai could tell. "I wonder how Azula is liking wearing these things."

Azula was in fact quite liking wearing diapers, drifting back and forth between being regressed and babyish out of sheer necessity, and trying as best she could to be her old, pre-breakdown self, and reconnect with her mother, her brother, and her dear friends.

Ursa sat down with her daughter as they played with some toys. "I found these in storage. I thought that you'd like to have these again." She looked on as Azula reached for them.

Zuko was indeed loving it. "You know," he said offhand, "I bet you'd look pretty cute in one of these too."

"Thank you, mommy," Azula said sweetly. She took her time to refamiliarize herself with her toys from bygone days, and then fiddled contentedly for a while with them.

"Anything on your mind?" Ursa asked, ruffling her hair.

Zuko smiled and got a diaper. He fumbled a bit, trying to recreate how Mai had done this for him, and how he'd seen his mother do this for Azula. With a little persistence, he actually put Mai's diaper on quite good, and was very excited in his own diaper by how it looked on her.

"Hmm?" Azula looked up at her mom. "Oh, I don't know. I'm sorry mommy... for being a difficult child, and for so many things I did, to you, to Zuko, to Mai and Ty Lee, to so many people I hurt." Still holding a favorite toy, she cuddled up in her Ursa's arms.

"It's OK, Azula. I forgive you. We all do. We know you were under a bad influence." She hugged Azula tight. "I just wish I could have protected you from him."

"You're welcome Mai," Zuko said, putting his arm lovingly around Mai. Then he beckoned for Ursa and Azula to rejoin them, so Zuko and Mai could join Azula in her playtime while Ursa looked on. "Omigosh," Azula giggled. "Mai, you too? We're all wearing diapers now?!"
