Within the past year, I'm sure several of you have seen my activity dwindle and thin out here; fewer roleplays getting started, responses becoming sporadic, most of my threads dying out, things of that nature. I also haven't been starting any new roleplay threads either, simply working with the two that I had managed to keep alive. Well, that's come to a head recently, and I've come to the realization that my motivation to roleplay has finally burnt out; I simply can't bring myself to keep a consistent roleplaying schedule, nor do I have any drive to maintain a long-term (or short-term for that matter) story. That's not to say I haven't been having fun here; even in these final few months where I became more distant than ever, I still enjoyed the threads I participated in; I just couldn't stay engaged enough to come up with any contributions to the stories.
With that being said, I don't plan to leave the site altogether. Rather, I'm shutting down my final few threads and stepping away from any future roleplaying. I do plan to stick around here as well, if only to check in on any new roleplay threads that might catch my attention. I have also slowly gotten back into drawing as well (some of it diaper-related too), and I post my works on my FurAffinity page (
http://www.furaffinity.net/user/shifterintheshadows/). I have a multitude of characters that I've drawn and play around with (including my fursona Neo), and I'll most likely be more active there than anywhere else.
So yeah, just figured I'd make a more official statement on my more sporadic activity. It's been fun, but for right now, as far as roleplaying goes, this is the end of the road for me.
