"Yes, and you three are the BUTT of it," said Harmony, swatting the back of Hildegarde's diaper. "Now, get moving, or I'll call the guards."

(Something to really occupy you, especially when we wrap up for today shortly: a compare-and-contrast in "how to draw" tutorials. The first is from Don Bluth, the other is from the infamous Chris-Chan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1i-b-CAUXmw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtFNSNgxsT0)
They soon were being led down the hallways to their cell.

(Fascinating. Anything in particular which stands out to you?)
At the very least, they were not being placed in a smaller-than-usual cell, and they each had their own crib.

(First off, in Bluth's tutorial, it's that he describes using kneaded erasers for his work, and made me curious to get them, as well as the constant starting with circles, which of course makes me think of SpongeBob. As for Chris, it's how incredibly shoddy the work is, how he uses cheap materials, holds his pen wrong, and doesn't bother to use pencils at all, but commits to final line art in pen as the first step.)
They were lowered inside.

(Intriguing contrasts, I must say)
Harmony made certain to lock the tops of the cribs. "Take a nap and think over what you want for yourselves. I'll be back in a while."

(You will also notice that Chris is far more vague with instructions, first saying "We do this n' that..." Chris also clearly wants to finish the drawing part quickly in order to get to the coloring...with Crayola washable markers.)
The trio was left to stew on this.

(Good Lord. Really brings life to the whole "difference between a professional and a layman.")
"This really is insulting," said Kaya, "The collective has people who tried to take over the entire world. All I did was beat my talentless sister around."

(Chris never evolved past childhood, after all. So of course he thinks it's fine to draw with Pentel RSVP ballpoint pens on copy paper, using a tracing kit meant for beginners, and that using markers instead of digital paint is better because it "saves ink.")
"You think you got problems?" Hildegarde said. "I was just trying to help my parents take what was rightfully theirs."

(I can see why he's not taken very seriously amongst the artistry community...)
"You never had a chance to live that life, whereas I did," said Malty, "My father and I did what we could to denounce the Shield Hero, and yet he not only had us stripped of our titles and dignity, but he had the gall to take my mother to bed."

(The actual drawing of Sonichu only takes a few minutes, and you can see how rushed it is, compared to the meticulous craft Bluth demonstrates with his 6B sketch pencil.)
"Well, that is utterly humiliating and morbid."
