The Fae of the Void (Private Group)

"Let's see if there's anything else in here." Shanara lifted off, flying over and up the staircase to see the next floor, assuming the others were following.

"Let's go." Burnish followed, fluttering behind.

Upstairs, they find a room much like the one below it in that it has some furniture and another staircase leading up on the other side of the room. The group of the elves see you instantly and start moving into position. Among them you see a elf with a heavy crossbow, one armed with a light crossbow with a wolf by his side, one once again wielding a hand crossbow in each hand. The last one is a new type you haven't seen yet, dressed in black robes.

(This is a group you're fighting against, and so will have trained different types of elves to fill their own role in combat. So you will be seeing the same types of enemies often, just fair warning. I'll try to change it up as often as I can, but it helps focus on the group dynamics of what they can do in battle. Anyway, roll initiative.)

Cetishil scooped up the loot from the first room, then follows the group into the next room, crossbow ready.

The elf wearing black robes will tell the others in elvish "Do not let your guard down, they must be good to have sneaked up on us like this." He will then move closer to the group before then firing a magical blast that makes brambles on a hit. It's a 15 ft. burst aimed to hit all three of you. (It does (1) + (1) = 2 piercing damage, DC 13 Reflex save for half damage. In addition, it must pass another DC 13 reflex save or be entangled. In any event, the area of the blast is now difficult terrain. Breaking free of the entangled condition is a move action, requiring either a Strength check of an Escape Artist check against the bramble blast's save DC. A target may also destroy the brambles on a square or creature by dealing 3 damage per caster level to the bramble. This removes the entangled condition and destroys the difficult terrain.)

The elf with the light crossbow will try to order his wolf to attack the group (Handle Animal: (2) + 7 = 9, fail.) Seeing that it didn't work, he'll leave the wolf be for now and aim his crossbow to the area in front of the elf with the black robe (If any of you seek to get within melee range of the elf without a reach weapon from the front side of him then you provoke attacks of opportunity from the elf with the light crossbow.)

The elf with the light crossbow will quickly seem more fey-like, while giving out an aura that would boaster any animal ally to her. She will then move closer to the group and then point her heavy crossbow towards Shanara as she subtly uses magic to plain the following suggestion into Shanara's mind "She's going to shoot that big crossbow at me whenever she finds an opening, I shouldn't give it to her." (Make a DC 12 will save or the only way you can attack next turn is if you fight defensibly.)

The elf with the dual crossbows will move closer until she's 30 ft. away from Shanara and will scout her (Perception: (8) + 3 = 11, fail.) She will then fire from both crossbows onto Shanara (Attack 1: (Nat 1). Attack 2: (16) + 4 = 20, Damage: (1) + 1 = 2.)

(First reflex save 13+9=22, pass, so takes 1 damage, but I have an Adamantine Chain Shirt with DR 1/- so I take nothing. Second reflex save 7+9=16, pass. Remember you both have 10 temp hp, DR 2/- and +2 insight bonus to saving throws. How far away are the elves and wolf from Cetishil?)
Edit: (Also, how many could I get is a 25ft cone?)

Cetishil will use her swift action to redistribute essence from her warding veil to her cloak of thorns, then move 10 feet forward and fire a cone of thorns at the Elf with the black robe and Elf with heavy crossbow. (25 ft cone, 3+8+3=14 piercing damage, reflex save DC 15 for half. Can use again after 1 round.)
